Abstract
This research aimed to find out students’ perception on the use of zoom meeting in learning English via online. The data were conducted on May 2025 from 10 students of the English Education Department in the 2021 academic year from one class. This research used a descriptive qualitative research; the instruments were an interview. The interview was distributed to the 10 students of the English Education Department in the 2021 academic year . The result of the students‟ interview that most of the students gave positive perception toward Zoom Meeting in online teaching and learning process, because easy to access and also has various interesting features so that learning can effectively and efficiently .Whereas there were also some students gave negative perception toward the media used by English teacher in teaching and learning process that they being more passive this is because learning activities were very monotonous and students' lack of understanding of the materials presented.
