Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan assessment berbasis game edukasi menggunakan website Educaplay pada materi ekosistem kelas V sekolah dasar; (2) mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas assessment berbasis game edukasi menggunakan website Educaplay pada materi ekosistem kelas V sekolah dasar; dan (3) mendeskripsikan tingkat kepraktisan assessment berbasis game edukasi menggunakan website Educaplay pada materi ekosistem kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Adapun data pada penelitian ini yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif berupa saran, masukan dan perbaikan dari validator, praktisi serta respon peserta didik terkait produk yang dikembangkan. Sedangkan data kuantitatif didapatkan dari angket validator, praktisi, dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 111/I Muara Bulian pada bulan Mei 2025. Setelah itu, data dianalisis untuk mendapatkan hasil kevalidan dan kepraktisan assessment yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini berupa assessment berbasis game edukasi menggunakan website Educaplay pada materi ekosistem kelas V sekolah dasar yang proses pengembangannya melalui model ADDIE. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 48 dengan persentase 96% pada kategori sangat valid. Hasil validasi oleh ahli bahasa memperoleh skor rata-rata 50 dengan persentase 100% pada kategori sangat valid, hasil validasi oleh ahli media diperoleh skor 47 dengan persentase 94% pada kategori sangat valid, hasil angket respon guru diperoleh skor rata-rata 49 dengan persentase 98% pada kategori sangat praktis, dan hasil angket respon peserta didik uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh skor persentase 96% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa assessment berbasis game edukasi menggunakan website Educaplay pada materi ekosistem kelas V sekolah dasar sangat valid dan sangat praktis. This research aims to: (1) describe the development procedure of an educational game-based assessment using the Educaplay website on ecosystem material for fifth-grade elementary school students; (2) describe the validity level of the educational game-based assessment using the Educaplay website on ecosystem material for fifth-grade elementary school students; and (3) describe the practicality level of the educational game-based assessment using the Educaplay website on ecosystem material for fifth-grade elementary school students. This research employs a research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collected in this study include both qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data consist of suggestions, inputs, and revisions from validators, practitioners, and student responses regarding the developed product. Meanwhile, quantitative data were obtained through questionnaires filled out by validators, practitioners, and students. This research was conducted at SDN 111/I Muara Bulian in May 2025. The data were then analyzed to determine the validity and practicality of the developed assessment. The result of this research and development is an educational game-based assessment using the Educaplay website on ecosystem material for fifth-grade elementary school students, developed through the ADDIE model. The validation result by a subject matter expert obtained an average score of 48 with a percentage of 96%, categorized as very valid. The validation result by a language expert obtained an average score of 50 with a percentage of 100%, categorized as very valid. The media expert’s validation yielded an average score of 47 with a percentage of 94%, categorized as very valid. The teacher's response questionnaire obtained an average score of 49 with a percentage of 98%, categorized as very practical, and the student response questionnaire in the small group trial obtained a percentage of 96%, categorized as very practical. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the educational game-based assessment using the Educaplay website on ecosystem material for fifth-grade elementary school students is very valid and very practical.
