Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memberikan dampak besar terhadap dunia usaha, termasuk pada sektor Usaha Mikro dan Kecil (UMK). Namun, tingkat adopsi teknologi digital di kalangan pelaku UMK masih relatif rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan pelaku UMK dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital dengan menggunakan kerangka konseptual Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) melalui software SmartPLS 4.0. Populasi penelitian adalah pelaku UMK di Kota Jambi yang bergerak di bidang usaha makanan dan minuman, dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 97 responden. Instrumen kuesioner dikembangkan berdasarkan tiga dimensi TOE yaitu Teknologi, Organisasi, dan Lingkungan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa dua dari tiga dimensi TOE memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap adopsi teknologi digital oleh UMK, yaitu faktor teknologi dan lingkungan. Sementara itu, faktor organisasi tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan, diduga karena mayoritas pelaku UMK memiliki struktur organisasi yang sederhana dan tidak terstruktur. Hal ini menjadi pertimbangan penting dalam penerapan framework TOE pada konteks UMK. Temuan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa framework TOE dapat diterapkan untuk menganalisis adopsi teknologi digital di sektor UMK. Hasilnya juga memberikan rekomendasi bagi para pelaku usaha dan pemangku kebijakan untuk lebih fokus pada aspek teknologi dan lingkungan dalam upaya meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. The development of digital technology has had a major impact on the business world, including the Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) sector. However, the level of digital technology adoption among MSEs is still relatively low. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the decision of MSEs in adopting digital technology using the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) conceptual framework. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) method through SmartPLS 4.0 software. The research population is MSE actors in the city of Jambi who are engaged in the food and beverage business, with a total sample of 97 respondents. The questionnaire instrument was developed based on three TOE dimensions, namely Technology, Organization and Environment. The results of hypothesis testing show that two of the three dimensions of TOE have a significant influence on the adoption of digital technology by MSEs, namely technological and environmental factors. Meanwhile, organizational factors do not show a significant influence, allegedly because the majority of MSE actors have a simple and unstructured organizational structure. This is an important consideration in the application of the TOE framework in the context of MSEs. The findings of this study prove that the TOE framework can be applied to analyze the adoption of digital technology in the MSE sector. The results also provide recommendations for business actors and policy makers to focus more on technological and environmental aspects in an effort to increase the utilization of digital technology.
