Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Menarche adalah saat seorang perempuan pertama kalinya mengalami menstruasi. Dari berbagai studi, ditemukan bahwa usia menarche baik di Negara maju ataupun berkembang mengalami percepatan. Risiko terjadinya berbagai penyakit akan lebih tinggi pada wanita yang mengalami menarche di bawah usia 12 tahun. Beberapa faktor yang berhubungan dengan menarche dini diidentifikasi berdasarkan faktor genetik dan faktor lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor status gizi, genetik, dan paparan media dengan kejadian menarche dini pada siswi SDN 207 Kota Jambi. Metode : Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, menggunakan rancangan studi cross sectional. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah siswi SDN 207 Kota Jambi kelas 4, 5, dan 6 tahun ajaran 2024 sebanyak 119 orang siswi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Chi-Square untuk menganalisis hubungan antar variabel. Hasil : Ditemukan hasil p-value sebesar 0,019 antara status gizi dengan kejadian menarche dini. Terdapat hasil p-value sebesar 0,000 antara genetik (riwayat menarche ibu) dengan kejadian menarche dini. Adanya hasil p-value sebesar 0,000 antara paparan media social dengan kejadian menarche dini. Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan antara status gizi, genetik (riwayat menarche ibu), dan paparan media sosial dengan kejadian menarche dini pada siswi di SDN 207 Kota Jambi. Diharapkan dengan penelitian ini kedepannya SDN 207 Kota Jambi dapat merancang program kesehatan dan diikuti dengan pengabdian masyarakat dari kampus serta pengembangan bagi penelitian selanjutnya. Kata Kunci : Menarche Dini, Status Gizi, Genetik, Paparan Media Sosial. ABSTRACK Background : Menarche is when a girl first experiences menstruation. From various studies, it has been found that the age of menarche in both developed and developing countries has accelerated. The risk of various diseases will be higher in women who experience menarche under the age of 12 years. Several factors related to early menarche are identified based on genetic and environmental factors. This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status, genetics, and media exposure with the incidence of early menarche in female students of SDN 207 Jambi City. Method : This study is a quantitative study, using a cross-sectional study design. Respondents in this study were 119 female students of SDN 207 Jambi City in grades 4, 5, and 6 in the 2024 academic year. This study used Chi-Square to analyze the relationship between variables. Results : A p-value of 0.019 was found between nutritional status and the incidence of early menarche. There was a p-value of 0.000 between genetics (maternal menarche history) and the incidence of early menarche. There was a p-value of 0.000 between exposure to social media and the incidence of early menarche. Conclusion : There is a relationship between nutritional status, genetics (maternal menarche history), and exposure to social media with the incidence of early menarche in female students at SDN 207 Jambi City. It is hoped that with this research in the future, SDN 207 Jambi City can design a health program and be followed by community service from the campus and development for further research.
