Abstract
ABSTRAK Misdawaty Paulina Monle Sinaga, Efisiensi Pemasaran Cabai Merah di Kecamatan Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Provinsi Jambi. Dibimbing oleh Ibu Ir. Emy Kernalis, M.P. dan Ir. Dewi Sri Nurchaini, M.P Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mengetahui gambaran pemasaran cabai merah di Kecamatan Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Provinsi Jambi, (2) Menganilisis efisiensi pemasaran cabai merah di Kecamatan Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi pada bulan Februari sampai bulan Maret 2020. Data dianalisis secara Deskriptif dan Kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dengan tujuan pertama menunjukkan bahwa pemasasaran cabai merah di Kecamatan Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi terdiri dari 3 saluran pemasaran, yaitu: (1) petani – pedagang pegumpul desa – wholesaler – pedagang pengecer – konsumen akhir, (2) petani – wholesaler – pedagang pegecer – konsumen akhir, (3) petani – pedagang pengumpul desa – wholesaler – pedagang pegecer – konsumen akhir. Hasil analisis efisiensi cabai merah bahwa saluran pemasaran II (petani – wholesaler – pedagang pengecer – konsumen akhir) dilihat dari margin, farmer’s share, IET dan IEE bahwa saluran II adalah saluran yang lebih efisien. Kunci: Pemasaran cabai merah, Margin, Farmer’s share, IET dan IEE ABSTRACT The purpose of this study are (1) to determine the marketing description of red chili in Kumpeh , Muaro Jambi , Jambi Province, (2) to analyze the marketing efficiency of red chili in Kumpeh, Muaro Jambi, Jambi Province.This research was conducted in Kumpeh, Muaro Jambi from February to March 2020. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the study, with the first objective showing that the marketing of red chilies in Kumpeh, Muaro Jambi consists of 3 marketing channels, namely:(1) farmers – village collectors – wholesalers – retailers – final consumers, (2) farmers – wholesalers – retailers – final consumers, (3) farmers – village collectors – wholesalers – retailers – final consumers. The result of Analysis Efficiency of Red Chil show that marketing channel II (farmers – wholesalers – retailers – end consumers) is seen from the margin, farmer's share, IET and IEE that channel II is the more efficient channel.
