Abstract
Kata kunci: peserta didik, kesulitan membaca, upaya guru Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca lacar pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar berdasarkan studi kasus di SDN 111/I Muara Bulian. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Instrument pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada beberapa tahap mengenai pembahasan upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar, yaitu sebagai berikut: (1) mengidentifikasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar yaitu terdapat peserta didik kesulitan dalam membaca lancar seperti pelafalan, intonasi serta jeda atau tanda pemberhentian (2) persiapan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar yaitu guru merancang strategi pembelajaran, guru memahami karakteristik peserta didik, guru menyiapkan RPP yang sesuai dengan kondisi sekarang lalu guru menyiapkan teks bacaan yang akan dibacakan peserta didik, guru memberikan strategi terbimbing, guru merancang media pembelajaran (3) pelaksanaan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar yaitu seperti proses pembelajaran guru memberikan teks bacaan, guru memberikan contoh bacaan yang baik, guru memberikan motivasi terhadap usaha peserta didik (4) evaluasi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar yaitu guru mengevaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hasil kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa guru sangat berperan penting dalam mengatasi atau meningkatkan keterampilan membaca terutama membaca lancar pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar yaitu melalui 4 tahapan: (1) mengidentifikasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar pemberhentian (2) persiapan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar(3) pelaksanaan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar(4) evaluasi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar. The research approach used is a qualitative approach, with the type of case study research. Instruments of data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that there are several stages regarding the discussion of the teacher's efforts in overcoming reading difficulties in grade 4 elementary school students, namely as follows: (1) identifying reading difficulties in grade 4 elementary school students, namely there are students who have difficulties in reading fluently such as pronunciation. , intonation and pause or stop sign (2) teacher preparation in overcoming reading difficulties in grade 4 elementary school students, namely the teacher designs learning strategies, the teacher understands the characteristics of the students, the teacher prepares lesson plans that are in accordance with current conditions and then the teacher prepares the reading text that will be read. read by the students, the teacher provides a guided strategy, the teacher designs learning media (3) the implementation of the teacher in overcoming reading difficulties in grade 4 elementary school students, namely the learning process the teacher gives reading texts, the teacher gives examples of good reading, the teacher gives motivation to the effort students (4) evaluation of teachers in overcoming reading difficulties in grade 4 elementary school students, namely teachers evaluate student learning outcomes and the surrounding environment. Based on the conclusions of this study, it shows that teachers play an important role in overcoming or improving reading skills, especially fluent reading in grade 4 elementary school students, namely through 4 stages: (1) identifying reading difficulties in 4th grade elementary school students dismissing (2) preparation teachers in overcoming reading difficulties in 4th grade elementary school students (3) teacher implementation in overcoming reading difficulties in 4th grade elementary school students (4) teacher evaluation in overcoming reading difficulties in 4th grade elementary school students.
