Abstract
Pembelajaran budidaya jamur tiram putih merupakan suatu kegiatan yang di laksanakan di SMK pertanian Negeri Jambi yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui keterampilan proses sains siswa SMK Pertanian dalam menentukan suhu terbaik pada pembuatan kompos untuk budidaya jamur tiram putih. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, penyebaran angket dan obsevasi. Indikator yang diamati yaitu mengajukan pertanyaan, hipotesis, merencanakan percobaan, mengamati, menafsirkan, dan komunikasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan lembar angket dari 42 orang siswa yang dijadikan sampel penelitian, 23 orang siswa atau 54,76% siswa memiliki keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan persentase yang paling tinggi. Dan diperkuat dengan data lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains siswa yang muncul dengan rata-rata persentase yang tinggi yaitu keterampilan mengamati 88,69% dan merencanakan percobaan 88,10%. Artinya siswa sudah mampu mengamati proses dan merencanakan percobaan dengan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan agar kegiatan praktikum lebih bervariasi lagi agar dapat melatih keterampilan proses sains peserta didik serta memberikan pengalaman yang dapat mestimulus keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Learning budidaya white oyster mushrooms is an activity carried out at the Jambi State Agricultural Vocational School which is carried out to find out the science process skills of agricultural vocational school students in determining the best temperature in making compost for the cultivation of white oyster mushrooms. This research is a type of descriptive research using qualitative research methods. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used are interviews, questionnaire dissemination and obsevation. The observed indicators are asking questions, hypotheses, planning experiments, observing, interpreting, and communicating. The results of this study were based on questionnaire sheets from 42 students who were used as research samples, 23 students or 54.76% of students had the highest percentage of student science process skills. Dan was reinforced by data on the observation sheet of students' science process skills that appeared with a high average percentage of 88.69% observation skills and 88.10% experimental planning. This means that students are already able to observe the process and plan experiments very well . Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that practicum activities be more varied in order to train students' science process skills and provide experiences that can stimulate students' science process skills.
