Abstract

Pendahuluan : Akne vulgaris (AV) merupakan penyakit yang sering muncul di kalangan remaja usia 15-18 tahun, yang dimulai sejak usia 12-15 tahun dan memuncak pada usia 17-21 tahun. Sebagian besar kasus AV ditandai dengan gabungan berbagai lesi dimulai dari komedo, papul, pustul, hingga nodul dan kista dengan tingkat keparahan yang berbeda. Meskipun bukan merupakan penyakit yang mematikan, AV menyebabkan efek negatif pada psikologis, emosional, hingga sosial pada kehidupan pasien. Beberapa faktor yang diketahui dapat menyebabkan terjadinya AV adalah usia, jenis kelamin, pekerjaan, status ekonomi, stres, diet, kosmetik, dan kualitas tidur. Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai derajat keparahan dan karakteristik penderita akne vulgaris pada pasien yang berobat ke Klinik Utama Zaira Skin Care Kota Jambi periode 2021-2022. Metode Penelitian : Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 180 pasien AV di Klinik Utama Zaira Skin Care Kota Jambi yang didapatkan melalui teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini tidak menggunakan data primer dan hanya menggunakan data sekunder berupa data catatan rekam medis pasien. Hasil Penelitian : Dari 180 AV, kejadian terbanyak didapatkan pada kelompok usia 12-25 tahun (77,2%), jenis kelamin perempuan (77,2%), dan pada golongan pelajar (65,6%). Sedangkan tipe akne vulgaris yang paling banyak didapati adalah tipe papulopustular (51,7%), dengan derajat keparahan AV tersering yaitu derajat keparahan sedang (38,3%). Background : Acne vulgaris (AV) is a disease that often appears among adolescents aged 15-18 years, which begins at the age of 12-15 years and peaks at the age of 17-21 years. Most cases of AV are characterized by a combination of various lesions ranging from comedones, papules, pustules, to nodules and cysts of different severity. Despite not being a fatal disease, AV causes negative effect to surface psychologically, emotionally, or even socially throughout a patient's life. Several known factors contributing to the formation of acne are age, sex, occupation, economic status, stress, diet, cosmetic use, and quality of sleep. Purpose : This study aimed to provide an overview of the severity and characteristics of acne vulgaris in patients who seek treatment at Zaira Skin Care Main Clinic in Jambi city for the 2021-2022 period. Method : This study was a descriptive analitic study with a retrospective approach. The samples of this study were 180 AV patients in Zaira Skin Care Main Clinic in Jambi City which were obtained through a total sampling technique. This study did not use primary data and only used secondary data in the form of patient medical record. Result : Of the 180 AV patients, the highest incidence was found in the age group of 12-25 years (77.2%), female (77.2%), and those who were in the student group (65.6%). Meanwhile, the most common type of acne vulgaris was the papulopustular type (51.7%), with the most common degree of AV severity, namely moderate severity (38.3%).
