Abstract

Ani, Cindy Putri. 2023, An Analysis of Students’ Academic Reading Habit: A Case of EFL Students at English Education Study Program Universitas Jambi. Thesis. English Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training Education of Universitas Jambi in Academic year 2022/2023. The first supervisor is Dr. Nyimas Triyana Safitri, S.Pd., M.Ed, St. The second supervisor is Duti Volya, S.Pd., M.Pd. This study aimed to analyze Students’ Academic Reading Habit: A Case of EFL Students at English Education Study Program Universitas Jambi. Qualitative research was used to examine this research. The participants were six students at the third semester of English Study Program Universitas Jambi. The Interviews were used to collect the data. The finding of the study showed five aspects in reading habit; they are attitude toward reading, reading frequency, books read, times spent and motivation. Key words: Reading Skill, Reading Habit
