Abstract

ABSTRAK Judul penelitian : Hubungan Pola Asuh Mengabaikan (Neglectful Parenting Style) dengan Tingkat Disiplin Siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Kota jambi Peneliti : Desti Sutrian Sari Nim : A1E119004 Pembimbing 1 : Drs. Nelyahardi, M.Pd. Pembimbing 2 : Dinny Rahmayanty, M.Pd. Keluarga adalah orang-orang yang memiliki hubungan dengan unit terkecil terdiri atas ayah, ibu, dan anak. Keluarga memiliki peranan yang sangat penting bagi perkembangan anak diantaranya di dalam keluarga memiliki peran dalam perkembangan karakter anak, perkembangan kognitif anak, perkembangan sosial anak, perkembangan moral anak, perkembangan mendidik anak, dan perkembangan kreativitas. Dalam fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan pola asuh mengabaikan masih ditemukan bahwa siswa yang memiliki disiplin rendah belum bisa mematuhi aturan-aturan yang ditetapkan di lingkungan sekolah. Hal tersebutlah yang mrnjadi dasar untuk melakukan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) Seberapa erat tingkat pola asuh mengabaikan kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi?, (2) Seberapa erat tingkat disiplin siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi?, (3) Seberapa erat hubungan antara pola asuh mengabaikan dengan tingkat disiplin siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi? Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi dengan jumlah populasi 373 diperoleh sampel 50 responden, penarikan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik sensus atau sampling total untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah menggunakan rumus product moment dengan bantuan SPSS V.26. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan tingkat persentase pola asuh mengabaikan sebesar 70,96% kategori tinggi dan persentase disiplin siswa sebesar 76,15% katergori tinggi. Penelitian ini terdapat korelasi yang jelas tetapi sedang antara pola asuh mengabaikan dengan tingkat disiplin siswa, dimana nilai r hitung 0,419 dengan demikian dapat di katakan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara pola asuh mengabaikan dengan disiplin siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan pola asuh mengabaikan dengan tingkat disiplin siswa sehingga dapat dijadikan acuan bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk memberikan bimbingan, arahan, dan perhatian penuh kepada siswa guna meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi agar lebih baik. Nelyahardi, M.Pd. Supervisor 2: Dinny Rahmayanty, M.Pd. Family is people who have a relationship with the smallest unit consisting of father, mother and children. The family has a very important role in children's development, including the family playing a role in the development of children's character, cognitive development of children, social development of children, moral development of children, development of educating children, and development of creativity. In the phenomenon that occurs in the field of neglectful parenting, it is still found that students who have low discipline cannot comply with the rules set in the school environment. This is the basis for conducting this research, namely to find out (1) How closely is the level of parenting neglectful class XI in SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City?, (2) How close is the level of discipline in class ) How close is the relationship between neglectful parenting and the level of discipline of class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City? This type of research is quantitative with a correlation approach. The subjects in this research were class The statistical analysis used is using the product moment formula with the help of SPSS V.26. The results of this research explain that the percentage level of neglectful parenting is 70.96% in the high category and the percentage of student discipline is 76.15% in the high category. In this research, there is a clear but moderate correlation between neglectful parenting and students' level of discipline, where the calculated r value is 0.419, so it can be said that there is a correlation between neglectful parenting and student discipline at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City. The results of this research can be used to find out how neglectful parenting is related to students' level of discipline so that it can be used as a reference for guidance and counseling teachers to provide guidance, direction and full attention to students in order to improve student discipline at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City to be better.
