Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of work stress and the work environment on the performance of Regional Mental Hospital (RSJ) Nurses in Jambi Province in 2023. This research is quantitative in nature and the research data used is primary and secondary data. The population and sample are nurses at the Jambi Regional Mental Hospital, 77 respondents who are nurses at the Jambi Province Regional Mental Hospital who treat patients with mental disorders. Data collection was carried out using Validity and Reliability Tests, Classical Assumption Tests, Multiple Linear Regression, Hypothesis Testing using SPSS Software. The research results show that there is an influence between work stress on the performance of nurses at the Regional Mental Hospital (RSJD) Jambi Province with a significance of 0.03 and there is an influence between the work environment on the performance of nurses at the Regional Mental Hospital (RSJD) Jambi Province with a significance of 0.000.
