Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka terhadap kecerdasan sosial siswa di sekolah dasar.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 12/X Pemusiran pada tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental design) menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni nonequivalent control group design, dimana terdapat kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan cara memberikan tes angket kecerdasan sosial kepada siswa. Kemudian data diolah untuk membandingkan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai kemampuan akhir kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil nilai uji t dengan uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yakni 44,057 > 2,063. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil uji t menggunakan uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka terhadap kecerdasan sosial siswa.Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan untuk pembina dan pihak sekolah untuk terus aktif melaksanakan pertemuan latihan ekstakurikuler pramuka. Hal ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dalam mengembangkan bakat dan minat siswa di bidang non akademik serta dalam peningkatan kecerdasan sosial siswa. This research aims to determine the effect of scout extracurricular activities on students' social intelligence in elementary schools.This research was conducted at SDN 12/X Pemusiran in the 2023/2024 school year. The type of research in this research is quasi-experimental design using a quantitative approach. The research design used in this research is nonequivalent control group design, where there is an experimental group and a control group. Data collection techniques were obtained by giving social intelligence questionnaire tests to students. Then the data is processed to compare the experimental group and the control group.The results showed that there was a significant difference in the average final ability scores of the experimental group and the control group. This is shown by the results of the t test value with the independent sample t-test, which shows that the t value is greater than t table, namely 44.057 > 2.063. Then, based on the results of the t test using the paired sample t-test, the Sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) is smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of scout extracurricular activities on students' social intelligence.From the results of this research, it is recommended that coaches and schools continue to actively carry out extracurricular scout training meetings. This is expected to have a positive influence in developing students' talents and interests in non-academic fields as well as increasing students' social intelligence.
