Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskirpsikan penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan media audio visual dalam meningkatkan keaktifan pada pembelajaran matematika kelas II di SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 14/I Sungai Baung, Kecamatan Muara Bulian, Kabupaten Batang Hari pada kelas II. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus yakni siklus I dan siklus II, dimana dalam pengambilan data menggunakan observasi berupa observasi guru dan siswa, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Taggart dan Kemmis yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Data pada penelitian ini dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan penerapan Model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media audio visual pada pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa ditandai dengan siswa terlibat dalam tugas, ikut memecahkan masalah, bertanya kepada guru atau teman, mencari informasi yang diperlukan, diskusi sesuai dengan instruksi guru, mengoreksi hasil dan kemampuan yang diperoleh, berlatih menyelesaikan contoh soal, dan mempraktekkan kemampuan dengan menyelesaikan tugas yang naik secara bertahap disetiap siklusnya. Hal ini terlihat dari siswa yang mengalami peningkatan keaktifan dalam pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan tiap indikator keaktifan pada kegiatan pembelajaran terlihat pada setiap siklus pertemuan. Siklus I pertemuan I sebesar 50% dan pada pertemuan II sebesar 53% yang mengalami peningkatan sebesar 3% Pada siklus II pertemuan I sebesar 78,1% Pada pertemuan II sebesar 87,5% mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,4%. Dari hasil penelitian pada siklus II pertemuan II telah mencapai persentase indikator keberhasilan yaitu 69%. Selisih dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 37,5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya Penerapan Model problem based learning berbantuan Media Audio Visual dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas II di SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya tiap indikator keaktifan belajar pada tiap siklus pertemuan. This research aims to describe the application of the problem based learning model assisted by audio visual media in increasing activity in class II mathematics learning at SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung. This research was conducted at SDN 14/I Sungai Baung, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency in class II. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II, where data collection uses observation in the form of teacher and student observations, interviews and documentation. This research uses the Taggart and Kemmis model which consists of 4 stages, namely the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The data in this research were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results of research conducted by applying the problem based learning model assisted by audio visual media in mathematics learning, it can increase student learning activity. Increased student learning activity is characterized by students being involved in tasks, taking part in solving problems, asking teachers or friends, looking for necessary information, discussing according to teacher instructions, correcting the results and abilities obtained, practicing solving example problems, and practicing abilities by completing assignments. which increases gradually in each cycle. This can be seen from students experiencing increased activeness in learning by paying attention to each indicator of activeness in learning activities seen in each meeting cycle. In the first cycle, the first meeting was 50% and in the second meeting it was 53%, which was an increase of 3%. In the second cycle, the first meeting was 78.1%. In the second meeting, it was 87.5%, an increase of 9.4%. From the results of research in cycle II, meeting II, the success indicator percentage was 69%. The difference from cycle I to cycle II was 37.5%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model assisted by Audio Visual Media can increase student learning activity in class II Mathematics at SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. This is proven by the increase in each indicator of learning activity in each meeting cycle.
