Abstract
ABSTRAK Hila Liani, 2024. Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Ditinjau dari Motivasi Belajar Siswa. Tesis, Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Matematika, Pascasarjana, Universitas Jambi. Pembimbing: (I) Prof. Dr. Syaiful, M.Pd. (II) Dr. Dra. Evita Anggereini., M.Si Kata Kunci: Guided Discovery Learning, Problem Based Learning, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, Motivasi Belajar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan motivasi belajar siswa.Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksperimen semu.Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-test dan post-test design dengan kelaompok non-equivalent.Populasi sebanyak 76 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 3 kelas dan sampel terdiri dari seluruh jumlah populasi yaitu pada kelas eksperimen I (26 siswa), kelas eksperimen II (25 siswa) dan kelas kontrol (25 siswa).Teknik dalam pengambilan sampel adalah Totality Sampling.Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan uji ANOVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yaitu diperoleh nilai p-value 0,023 < 0,05 maka H1 diterima, 2) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar tinggi, motivasi belajar sedang dan motivasi belajar rendah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi untuk motivasi belajar sebesar 0,019 < 0,05 maka H1 diterima, 3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning terhadapa motivasi belajar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa ditunjukkan dengan uji ANOVA dua jalur diperoleh 0,133 > 0,05 yang berarti H1 ditolak dan terima H0. This research was motivated by the low mathematical problem solving abilities and students' learning motivation. The aim of this research is to find out how much influence the Guided Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning models have on mathematical problem solving abilities in terms of student learning motivation. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The research design used in this research is a pre-test and post-test design with non-equivalent groups. The population was 76 students divided into 3 classes and the sample consisted of the entire population, namely in experimental class I (26 students), experimental class II (25 students) and control class (25 students). The sampling technique is Totality Sampling. The instrument used in this research was a two-way ANOVA test. The results of the research show that: 1) there is an influence of the Guided Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning learning models on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, namely a p-value of 0.023 < 0.05, so H1 is accepted, 2) there is an influence of high learning motivation, moderate learning motivation and low learning motivation on students' mathematical problem solving abilities after implementing the learning model is indicated by a significance value for learning motivation of 0.019 <0.05, so H1 is accepted, 3) there is an interaction between the Guided Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning learning models on improving learning motivation. Students' mathematical problem solving abilities were demonstrated by the two-way ANOVA test, which obtained 0.133 > 0.05, which means H1 was rejected and H0 was accepted.
