Abstract

LATAR BELAKANG Kasus pemerkosaan dan pelecehan seksual yang terjadi di Indonesia salah satunya disebabkan oleh pelaku yang kecanduan menonton ponografi. Di Kota Jambi, mayoritas remaja yang pernah mengakses ponografi berada di rentang usia 15-17 tahun. Hal ini perlu menjadi perhatian, agar para remaja tersebut tidak sampai mengalami kecanduan mengakses pornografi dan melakukan tindak kriminal. Salah satu faktor yang diduga dapat mencegah hal tersebut adalah pola konunikasi remaja tersebut dengan orangtuanya. TUJUAN PENELITIAN Untuk mengetahui hubunganl antara polal komunikasi orangl tua denganl intensitas perilaku mengakses situs pornografi pada remaja di Kota Jambi METODE Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 112 remaja di Kota Jambi berusia 15-17 tahun yang dpilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. HASIL Hasil uji hipotesis antara variable pola komunikasi orang tua dan intensitas perilaku mengakses pornografi menghasilkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,344 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0.05). Secara lebih spesifik, pola conversation orientation memiliki koefisien korelasi -0,304 (p<0.05) dan pola comformity orientation) memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi -0,349 (p<0.05). KESIMPULAN Pola komunikasi orang tua secara umum, maupun jenis conversation orientation dan comformity orientation memiliki korelasi negatif yang signifikan dengan intensitas mengakses ponografi remaja. Artinya, pada dasarnya kedua pola komunikasi dengan karakteristik yang saling terbuka dan saling bertukar pendapat antara remaja dan orang tua, maupun sekedar melalui pemberian perintah sama-sama memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap intensitas perilaku mengakses pornografi. BACKGROUND : One of the cases of rape and sexual harassment that occurred in Indonesia was caused by perpetrators who were addicted to watching pornography. In Jambi City, the majority of teenagers who have accessed pornography are in the age range of 15-17 years. This needs to be paid attention to, so that teenagers do not become addicted to accessing pornography and committing crimes. One factor that is thought to prevent this is the teenager's communication pattern with his parents. RESEARCH OBJECTIVE : To determine the relationship between parental communication patterns and the intensity of behavior of accessing pornographic sites among teenagers in Jambi City METHOD : This research used a quantitative approach with correlational methods. The respondents in this study were 112 teenagers in Jambi City aged 15-17 years who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used the Pearson Product Moment correlation test RESULTS : The results of the hypothesis test between the variables of parental communication patterns and the intensity of pornography access behavior produced a correlation coefficient of -0.344 with a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). More specifically, the conversation orientation pattern has a correlation coefficient of -0.304 (p<0.05) and the comfort orientation pattern) has a correlation coefficient of -0.349 (p<0.05). CONCLUSION : Parental communication patterns in general, as well as the types of conversation orientation and comfort orientation, have a significant negative correlation with the intensity of adolescents' access to pornography. This means that basically both communication patterns with the characteristics of being open and exchanging opinions between teenagers and parents, as well as simply giving orders, both have a significant relationship to the intensity of pornography accessing behavior.
