Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi Teks Berita berbasis digital yang efektif dan menarik dengan menggunakan model SAM (Successive Approximation Model), yang terdiri dari tiga fase yaitu fase persiapan (analisis kebutuhan dan SAVVY Start), fase desain iteratif, dan fase pengembangan iteratif. Pada fase persiapan, informasi dikumpulkan melalui analisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru serta analisis media dan bahan ajar untuk memahami kebutuhan spesifik yang akan diakomodasi oleh modul. Kegiatan SAVVY Start yang tediri dari brainstorming, sketsa, dan prototyping dilakukan untuk merancang konsep awal modul. Fase desain iteratif bertujuan merancang modul yang relevan dengan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kompetensi siswa melalui pendekatan iteratif yang meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas modul. Fase pengembangan iteratif fokus pada pengembangan dan penyempurnaan modul serta pengujian kelayakan yang melibatkan ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi menyatakan modul memenuhi standar dan layak digunakan tanpa perlu revisi. Hasil validasi ahli bahasa menyatakan modul sudah baik, tetapi ada beberapa saran untuk diperbaiki dan setelah dilakukan perbaikan, modul layak digunakan. Hasil validasi ahli media menilai modul sudah baik, namun memberikan saran untuk meningkatkan kualitas visual dan setelah dilakukan perbaikan modul dianggap telah layak untuk digunakan. Secara keseluruhan, modul dinyatakan layak digunakan dan diharapkan dapat mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan lebih baik setelah memperhatikan saran dari para validator. This study aims to develop an effective and interesting digital-based Indonesian language learning module for News Text material using the SAM (Successive Approximation Model) model, which consists of three phases, namely the preparation phase (needs analysis and SAVVY Start), the iterative design phase, and the iterative development phase. In the preparation phase, information is collected through student and teacher needs analysis as well as media and teaching materials analysis to understand the specific needs that will be accommodated by the module. SAVVY Start activities consisting of brainstorming, sketching, and prototyping are carried out to design the initial concept of the module. The iterative design phase aims to design a module that is relevant to students' knowledge, skills, and competencies through an iterative approach that improves the quality and effectiveness of the module. The iterative development phase focuses on the development and refinement of the module as well as feasibility testing involving material experts, linguists, and media experts. The validation results from material experts stated that the module met the standards and was suitable for use without the need for revision. The validation results from linguists stated that the module was good, but there were several suggestions for improvement and after improvements were made, the module was suitable for use. The results of the media expert validation assessed the module as good, but provided suggestions to improve the visual quality and after improvements were made the module was considered suitable for use. Overall, the module was declared suitable for use and is expected to support teaching and learning activities better after considering the suggestions from the validators.
