Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk : (1) Menganalisis trend perkembangan volume ekspor kakao Indonesia ke lima negara tujuan utama dan faktor faktor yang mempengaruhinya dari tahun 2003-2022. (2) Menganalisis pengaruh jumlah produksi, harga ekspor, nilai tukar (kurs), GDP Indonesia, GDP Negara Tujuan utama , jarak ekonomi negara tujuan utama terhadap volume ekspor kakao Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama terhadap volume ekspor biji kakao Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama. Penelitian Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), UN Comtrade, World Bank, International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) dan sumber lain yang terkait. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi data panel ( pooled data ) dengan pendekatan gravity model. Data panel yang digunakan yaitu gabungan dari data cross section lima negara tujuan utama ( Malaysia, , India, China, Belanda, Amerika Serikat ) dan data time series dalam rentang tahun 2003-2022. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Perkembangan volume ekspor biji kakao Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama, produksi, harga, nilai tukar, GDP Indonesia, GDP negara tujuan utama, jarak ekonomi berfluktuasi cenderung menurun pada setiap tahunnya. (2) Berdasarkan hasil regresi data panel diketahui bahwa produksi, GDP negara tujuan dan harga berpengaruh positif signifikan, sedangkan GDP Indonesia dan nilai tukar berpengaruh negatif signifikan, sementara Jarak Ekonomi negatif tidak signifikan terhadap volume ekspor biji kakao Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama. This research aims to: (1) Analyze the trend of cocoa export volume from Indonesia to the five main destination countries and the factors influencing it from 2003 to 2022. (2) Analyze the impact of production volume, export prices, exchange rates, Indonesia's GDP, the GDP of the main destination countries, and the economic distance to the main destination countries on the export volume of cocoa beans from Indonesia to these main destination countries. This study utilizes secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), UN Comtrade, World Bank, International Cocoa Organization (ICCO), and other related sources. The data analysis methods used are descriptive analysis and panel data regression (pooled data) with a gravity model approach. The panel data used is a combination of cross-section data from the five main destination countries (Malaysia, India, China, the Netherlands, and the United States) and time series data from the years 2003-2022. The results of this research indicate that (1) The development of cocoa bean export volume from Indonesia to the main destination countries, production, prices, exchange rates, Indonesia's GDP, GDP of the main destination countries, and economic distance fluctuates and tends to decrease each year. (2) Based on the results of the panel data regression, it is known that production, GDP of the destination countries, and prices have a significant positive effect, while Indonesia's GDP and exchange rates have a significant negative effect, and economic distance has a negative but not significant effect on the export volume of cocoa beans from Indonesia to the main destination countries.
