Abstract
Penelitian ini berawal dari kesenjangan yang terjadi berupa beberapa anak ABK yang keluar kelas untuk mendatangi orang tuanya saat jam pembelajaran berlangsung sehingga mengganggu konsentrasi anak yang lain, ABK sibuk dengan aktivitasnya sendiri, ABK yang mengajak teman berbicara saat pembelajaran, ABK yang cenderung bersikap diam. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru yang mengajar sebagai guru kelas sekaligus guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mendukung proses belajar anak ABK; 2) untuk mengidentifikasi strategi yang digunakan guru untuk membantu anak ABK mengatasi tantangan belajar; 3) untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi anak ABK terhadap peran guru dalam mendukung proses belajar; 4) untuk mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi guru; 5) untuk mendeskripsikan kontribusi peran guru terhadap pencapaian tujuan pendidikan inklusif; 6) Untuk merekomendasi program hipotetik bimbingan dan konseling yang dapat diterapkan untuk mendukung pendidikan inklusif di SLB. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif. Responden yaitu peserta didik tunagrahita ringan berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Peran guru berupa dukungan akademik, dukungan emosional, dukungan sosial dan pemetaan kebutuhan anak ABK; 2) Strategi guru berupa bimbingan individu, bimbingan kelompok, teknik pengajaran adiptif dan penggunaan teknologi asistif; 3) Persepsi anak menunjukkan dampak positif berupa sikap membantu, sikap peduli, sikap tegas dan sikap adil; 4) Kendala yang dihadapi guru berupa perilaku dan karakter siswa, partisipasi keluarga, dan keterbatasan pelatihan; 5) Kontribusi peran guru berupa kerja sama terhadap pihak sekolah dan orang tua, lingkungan belajar yang mendukung, melakukan supervisi pengajaran bagi guru, dan pengembangan metode; 6) Rekomendasi program hipotetik layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan di SLB mendukung pendidikan yang inklusif dalam proses pembelajaran anak ABK. Pentingnya evaluasi rutin terhadap program pendidikan inklusif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Maka rekomendasi penelitian ini perlu dioptimalkan layanan BK agar dapat secara holistik memberikan pelayanan dari sisi keilmuan BK melihat bagaimana individu dalam tumbuh dan kembangnya. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus, Pendidikan Inklusi This study began with the gap that occurred in the form of several children with special needs who left the class to visit their parents during learning hours, thus disturbing the concentration of other children, children with special needs who were busy with their own activities, children with special needs who invited friends to talk during learning, children with special needs who tended to be quiet. The objectives of this study were: 1) to describe the role of teachers who teach as class teachers and guidance and counseling teachers in supporting the learning process of children with special needs; 2) to identify strategies used by teachers to help children with special needs overcome learning challenges; 3) to describe the perceptions of children with special needs towards the role of teachers in supporting the learning process; 4) to identify obstacles faced by teachers; 5) to describe the contribution of the role of teachers to achieving inclusive education goals; 6) To recommend hypothetical guidance and counseling programs that can be applied to support inclusive education in SLB. The approach to this study was qualitative with a descriptive design. The respondents were 11 mild intellectually retarded students. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The role of teachers is in the form of academic support, emotional support, social support and mapping the needs of children with special needs; 2) Teacher strategies in the form of individual guidance, group guidance, adaptive teaching techniques and the use of assistive technology; 3) Children's perceptions show positive impacts in the form of helping attitudes, caring attitudes, assertive attitudes and fair attitudes; 4) Obstacles faced by teachers in the form of student behavior and character, family participation, and limited training; 5) Contribution of the role of teachers in the form of cooperation with schools and parents, a supportive learning environment, supervising teaching for teachers, and developing methods; 6) Recommendations for hypothetical guidance and counseling service programs. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that education in SLB supports inclusive education in the learning process of children with special needs. The importance of routine evaluation of inclusive education programs to increase the effectiveness of the learning process. Therefore, the recommendation of this study is to optimize BK services so that they can holistically provide services from the scientific side of BK to see how individuals grow and develop.
