This research analyzes the film Imperfect by Ernest Prakasa using a discourse analysis approach to text structure, with a qualitative descriptive method. The aim of this research is to describe women's beauty standards or the concept of women's beauty in social life. The results of data analysis of women's beauty standards in the film Imperfect using a discourse analysis approach to text analysis practice consist of several linguistic features, namely the linguistic feature of negation 16 data, the linguistic feature of repetition 9 data, and the linguistic feature of cynicism 12 data. In this research, the film Imperfect is a film that tells about the physical appearance of women who do not meet beauty standards, often receiving discriminatory actions from the social environment. And women's physical beauty is currently still a benchmark for supporting a person's success in the world of work, career and love. Therefore , through this film the public is expected not to carry out discriminatory actions such as dropping, cornering and physically insulting someone. Because the concept of beauty is diverse, it's not all about white skin, a slim body and straight hair, for this reason fellow human beings must support each other so that a person's mentality is not disturbed by obsession with beauty standards which makes women always insecure, unable to accept, and love, his own imperfections.
