Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of collaboration to enhance the effectiveness of public services in the building permit process. The licensing process in Jambi City is often hindered by a lack of collaboration between relevant agencies, such as the Public Works Department and the One Stop Investment and Integrated Service Office. By utilizing collaboration indicators that encompass work process integration, inter-agency communication, and supportive mechanisms, this study explores how collaboration can address various challenges in the process. It is hoped that the findings of this research will provide practical contributions for local governments in creating more responsive and efficient public services.
