Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul dan suplemen Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) berbasis etnosains pada alat musik tradisional Gambus Jambi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Hasil penelitian berupa modul dan suplemen P5 dalam bentuk hardcopy dan softcopy. Jenis data, sumber data, serta teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari data kualitatif melalui wawancara, serta data kuantitatif melalui angket validasi ahli, angket persepsi guru, dan persepsi peserta didik. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dalam dua tahap. Uji coba lapangan dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi dan menunjukkan hasil bahwa modul tergolong “sangat layak” dengan rata-rata skor 96,43%, sementara suplemen tergolong “layak” dengan rata-rata 77,93%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul dan suplemen P5 berbasis etnosains dapat memperkuat pemahaman peserta didik terhadap sains sekaligus melestarikan kearifan lokal melalui pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan bermakna. This study aims to develop a module and supplement for the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) based on ethnoscience on the traditional musical instrument Gambus Jambi. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results of the study are in the form of P5 modules and supplements in hardcopy and softcopy. The types of data, data sources, and data collection techniques used in this study consist of qualitative data through interviews, and quantitative data through expert validation questionnaires, teacher perception questionnaires, and student perceptions. Validation was carried out by material experts and media experts in two stages. The field trial was conducted at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi and showed that the module was classified as “very feasible” with an average score of 96.43%, while the supplement was classified as “feasible” with an average of 77.93%. This study shows that the development of P5 modules and supplements based on ethnoscience can strengthen students' understanding of science while preserving local wisdom through contextual and meaningful learning.
