Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul dan suplemen P5 berbasis etnosains pada alat musik tradisional kelintang perunggu Jambi di SMP serta untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul dan suplemen P5 yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan model 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi dengan subjek uji coba 28 peserta didik kelas 8E dan 2 orang guru. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara wawancara (guru) dan penyebaran angket persepsi (peserta didik dan guru). Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan Teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi peserta didik dan guru sebesar 80,81% dan 96,42%, hasil ini menunjukan modul dan suplemen P5 berbasis etnosains pada alat musik tradisional kelintang perunggu Jambi di SMP sudah sangat layak digunakan sebagai media kegiatan P5. Diharapkan, modul dan suplemen P5 dapat digunakan oleh guru-guru disekolah lainnya dalam kegiatan P5 terutama pada tema kearifan lokal. Melalui penelitian ini modul & suplemen P5 dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran yang inovatif serta mendorong peningkatan pengetahuan peserta didik terhadap etnosains pada alat musik tradisional kelintang perunggu Jambi. This study aims to develop P5 modules and supplements based on ethnoscience on traditional musical instruments kelintang bronze Jambi in junior high schools and to determine the feasibility of the P5 modules and supplements that have been developed. This study uses the R&D method with the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi with trial subjects of 28 class 8E students and 2 teachers. The research data were obtained by interviewing (teachers) and distributing perception questionnaires (students and teachers). The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques descriptively. The results of the study showed that the perceptions of students and teachers were 80.81% and 96.42%, these results indicate that the P5 modules and supplements based on ethnoscience on traditional musical instruments kelintang bronze Jambi in junior high schools are very feasible to be used as P5 activity media. It is expected that the P5 module and supplements can be used by teachers in other schools in P5 activities, especially on the theme of local wisdom. Through this research, the P5 module and supplements can be used as innovative learning media and encourage increased student knowledge of ethnoscience on traditional Jambi bronze kelintang musical instruments.
