Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam bidang pariwisata mendorong digitalisasi sistem pemesanan tiket, salah satunya pada destinasi Gunung Kerinci. Sistem Informasi E-Ticket Pendakian Gunung Kerinci berbasis website dikembangkan untuk mengatasi masalah sistem manual seperti antrean panjang dan kurangnya transparansi data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan mengetahui tingkat usability sistem tersebut menggunakan dua metode: Cognitive Walkthrough (CW) dan Heuristic Evaluation (HE). Hasil evaluasi menggunakan CW menunjukkan masalah utama pada tugas dengan kepentingan tinggi, terutama terkait pemahaman elemen antarmuka (user) dan tampilan teks/ikon (text and icon).Permasalahan ringan namun sering terjadi pada tombol lebih detail pada eksplorasi halaman beranda, fitur lampirkan identitas yang memiliki ukuran file yang kecil, tautan verifikasi email yang tidak bisa diklik, nomor telepon darurat, dan lupa email pada saat pengguna ingin memasukkan kembali tautan email yang sudah didaftarkan. Sedangkan, hasil evaluasi menggunakan HE menunjukkan bahwa sistem masih memiliki beberapa permasalahan usability, khususnya pada aspek efisiensi penggunaan, umpan balik sistem, dan kendali pengguna. Permasalahan di klasifikasikan menjadi cosmetic errors yang memiliki 0 permasalahan yang ditemukan, minor errors yang memiliki 5 permasalahan yang ditemukan pada match between system and the real world, consistency and standards, recognition rather than recall, flexibility and efficiency of use, dan help and documentation. Dan major errors memiliki 3 permasalahan yang ditemukan pada visibility of system status, user control and freedom, dan error prevention, dengan dominasi pada kategori minor. Meski demikian, major errors juga memiliki masalah yang ditemukan seperti tidak tersedianya tombol “undo” dan hilangnya inputan saat terjadi kesalahan. Evaluator telah memberikan saran perbaikan yang mencakup peningkatan wording notifikasi, navigasi yang lebih fleksibel, dan penambahan informasi penting untuk mendukung pengalaman pengguna. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode CW dan HE menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sistem telah berfungsi secara umum, masih diperlukannya perbaikan pada antarmuka untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna. The use of technology in tourism encourages the digitalization of ticket booking systems, one of which is at the Mount Kerinci destination. The Mount Kerinci Climbing E-Ticket Information System based on a website was developed to overcome manual system problems such as long queues and lack of data transparency. This study aims to evaluate and determine the level of usability of the system using two methods: Cognitive Walkthrough (CW) and Heuristic Evaluation (HE). The results of the evaluation using CW showed the main problems in tasks with high importance, especially related to understanding interface elements (user) and text/icon displays (text and icon). Minor problems but often occur on the more detailed button on the homepage exploration, the attach identity feature that has a small file size, an email verification link that cannot be clicked, emergency telephone numbers, and forgetting emails when users want to re-enter the registered email link. Meanwhile, the results of the evaluation using HE showed that the system still has several usability problems, especially in terms of efficiency of use, system feedback, and user control. Problems are classified into cosmetic errors which have 0 problems found, minor errors which have 5 problems found in the match between system and the real world, consistency and standards, recognition rather than recall, flexibility and efficiency of use, and help and documentation. And major errors have 3 problems found in visibility of system status, user control and freedom, and error prevention, with dominance in the minor category. However, major errors also have problems found such as the unavailability of the "undo" button and loss of input when an error occurs. The evaluator has provided suggestions for improvement including improving notification wording, more flexible navigation, and adding important information to support the user experience. The results of the study using the CW and HE methods show that although the system has functioned in general, improvements are still needed to the interface to improve the user experience.
