Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi pendaftaran dan manajemen Program Inovasi Desa (Pro-IDe) Universitas Jambi berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode Extreme Programming (XP). Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website yang dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa, dosen pembimbing, dan pihak BAK dalam proses pendaftaran hingga pelaporan kegiatan Pro-IDe. Metode Extreme Programming dipilih karena penelitian dilakukan oleh tim pengembang kecil, yaitu dua orang pengembang. Selain itu, kebutuhan pengguna terhadap sistem ini mengalami perubahan di setiap iterasinya, sehingga diperlukan komunikasi intensif antara pengembang dan pengguna. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan framework Laravel, dan diuji menggunakan metode black box testing. Proses pengembangan dilakukan melalui tahapan utama dalam Extreme Programming, yaitu planning, design, coding, dan testing, dengan melibatkan pengguna secara aktif dalam setiap iterasinya. Fitur utama dalam sistem yang dikembangkan meliputi pendaftaran Pro-IDe, validasi proposal, penilaian proposal, monitoring logbook kegiatan, unggah laporan akhir, serta pengelolaan berita, pengumuman, dan publikasi Pro-IDe dan sebagainya. Sistem ini dapat diakses secara online melalui platform desktop dan mobile, serta membantu proses administrasi dan monitoring kegiatan Pro-IDe. Selama proses pengembangan, dilakukan lima iterasi, dimana pada iterasi pertama hingga keempat berfokus pada pembuatan fitur inti seperti pendaftaran dan validasi administrasi. Iterasi kelima dilakukan perubahan kecil pada fitur beri nilai pada kelola pendaftaran dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Setiap iterasi melibatkan umpan balik pengguna untuk penyempurnaan desain dan fungsionalitas sistem. Tahap akhir penelitian dilakukan pengujian menggunakan black box testing, dengan hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa 100% fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, tanpa ditemukannya bug kritis. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun dinilai layak untuk digunakan dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dalam pengelolaan Pro-IDe di Universitas Jambi. This study aims to develop a website-based information system for registration and management of the Village Innovation Program (Pro-IDe) at Jambi University using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. This study produces a website-based information system that can be used by students, supervisors, and BAK in the registration process to reporting Pro-IDe activities. The Extreme Programming method was chosen because the research was conducted by a small development team, namely two developers. In addition, user needs for this system change in each iteration, so intensive communication is needed between developers and users. This system is built using the Laravel framework, and tested using the black box testing method. The development process is carried out through the main stages in Extreme Programming, namely planning, design, coding, and testing, by actively involving users in each iteration. The main features in the developed system include Pro-IDe registration, proposal validation, proposal assessment, monitoring activity logbooks, uploading final reports, as well as managing news, announcements, and Pro-IDe publications and so on. This system can be accessed online via desktop and mobile platforms, and helps the administration and monitoring of Pro-IDe activities. During the development process, five iterations were carried out, where the first to fourth iterations focused on creating core features such as registration and administrative validation. The fifth iteration made minor changes to the features to rate registration management and monitoring and evaluation. Each iteration involved user feedback to improve the design and functionality of the system. The final stage of the research was testing using black box testing, with the test results showing that 100% of the system functions ran as expected, without any critical bugs being found. These results indicate that the system built is considered feasible to use and is able to meet user needs in managing Pro-IDe at the University of Jambi.
