Abstract
Kondisi saat ini bahwa tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih tergolong rendah, melalui kemampuan berpikir kritis, siswa dapat membuktikan suatu maksud tertentu, serta memecahkan masalah dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa salah satunya adalah model pembelajaran Project Based Learning, model ini mampu menuntun siswa dalam memecahkan masalah yang diberikan sehingga melatih siswa untuk berpikir kritis. Salah satu penggunaan ICT dalam pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan Google Classroom. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model Project Based Learning berbantuan Google Classroom terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) desain nonequivalent control group design. Subyek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan jumlah 44 siswa. Penentuan sampel digunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumbulan data yaitu tes berupa pretest dan posttest serta kuesioner kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Instrumen digunakan setelah dilakukan validasi oleh tim ahli. Hasil penelitian bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata nilai adalah 83,13 dengan standar deviasi 11,44, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh rata-rata nilai 73,40 dengan standar deviasi 13,15. Hasil uji menunjukkan thitung = 3,14 dan ttabel = 2,02,(thitung > ttabel) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hal ini berarti bahwa H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa model Project Based Learning berbantuan Google Classroom berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Penelitian eksperimen ini hanya dilakukan pada materi sistem koordinasi. Sehingga diharapkan adanya penelitian lanjutan mengenai model Project Based Learning berbasis Google Classroom pada materi biologi lainnya. The current condition is that the level of students' critical thinking skills is still relatively low, through critical thinking skills, students can prove a certain purpose, and solve problems in the learning process. One of the learning models that can be used to improve students' critical thinking skills is the Project Based Learning model, this model is able to guide students in solving problems given so as to train students to think critically. One of the uses of ICT in learning is the use of Google Classroom. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the Google Classroom-assisted Project Based Learning model on the critical thinking skills of high school students. The research was conducted with a quasi-experimental approach (quasi-experimental) with non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were all students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi for the academic year 2020/2021 with a total of 44 students. Determination of the sample used purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are tests in the form of pretest and posttest as well as questionnaires on students' critical thinking skills. The instrument is used after validation by a team of experts. The results showed that the critical thinking ability of the experimental class students was better than the control class. In the experimental class, the average value was 83.13 with a standard deviation of 11.44, while in the control class, the average value was 73.40 with a standard deviation of 13.15. The test results show tcount = 3.14 and ttable = 2.02, (tcount > ttable) at a significance level of 0.05. This means that H0 is rejected. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the Project Based Learning model assisted by Google Classroom had an effect on students' critical thinking skills. This experimental research was only carried out on the material of the coordination system. So it is hoped that there will be further research on the Google Classroom-based Project Based Learning model on other biological materials.
