Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan saluran pemasaran karet di Kecamatan Batin XXIV Kabupaten Batanghari dan menganalisis efisiensi pemasaran karet di Kecamatan Batin XXIV Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Batin XXIV Kabupaten Batanghari yang dilakukan selama 3,5 bulan kalender. Data primer di peroleh langsung dari petani melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner sedangkan data sekunder di peroleh dari laporan-laporan penelitian, buku dan jurnal. Jumlah responden petani sebanyak 43 orang dan diambil dengan cara metode simple random sampling, sedangkan jumlah responden pedagang sebanyak 6 orang dan di ambil dengan cara snowball sampling. Data di analisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis efisiensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemasaran karet di daerah penelitian terdapat dua saluran pemasaran dan memiliki tiga fungsi pemasaran yaitu fungsi pertukaran, fungsi fisik dan fungsi fasilitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa saluran I dengan nilai margin lebih kecil sebesar 2.327/Kg, farmer’s share lebih besar dengan nilai 81%, indeks teknis lebih kecil dengan nilai 2,22 dan nilai indeks ekonomis lebih kecil dengan nilai 7,58. Maka dikatakan saluran I lebih efisien. Kata kunci: Karet, saluran pemasaran, fungsi pemasaran, efisiensi pemasaran ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the rubber marketing channels in Batin XXIV District, Batanghari Regency and analyze the efficiency of rubber marketing in Batin XXIV District, Batanghari Regency. This study was conducted in Batin XXIV District, Batanghari Regency for 3.5 calendar months. Primary data was obtained directly from farmers through interviews using questionnaires while secondary data was obtained from research reports, books and journals. The number of farmer respondents was 43 people and was taken using the simple random sampling method, while the number of trader respondents was 6 people and was taken using the snowball sampling method. The data was analyzed using a descriptive approach and efficiency analysis. The results showed that rubber marketing in the research area had two marketing channels and had three marketing functions, namely exchange function, physical function and facility function. Based on the results of the analysis, it showed that channel I had a smaller margin value of 2,327/Kg, farmer's share was larger with a value of 81%, the technical index was smaller with a value of 2.22 and the economic index value was smaller with a value of 7.58.
