Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) terhadap creative self-efficacy siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Jambi dengan metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Posttest Only Control Group Design dan sampel terdiri dari 2 kelas yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik pengambilan simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII J sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning dan VIII I sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru dan siswa selama pembelajaran, lembar angket creative performance self-efficacy, dan posttest berupa lembar tes creative thinking self-efficacy. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor posttest creative thinking self-fficacy siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan dengan rata-rata skor creative thinking self-efficacy siswa pada kelas kontrol. Selain itu hasil dari uji-t dengan sampel independen diperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) 0,002 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Selanjutnya berdasarkan analisis besarnya pengaruh penerapan model project based learning menunjukkan angka 11,53%. Hal ini juga diperkuat berdasarkan hasil angket siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat dikatakan penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning berpengaruh terhadap creative self-efficacy siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Jambi. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the project based learning (PjBL) learning model on the creative self-efficacy of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 11 Jambi City. This research was conducted in class VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Jambi City with a quantitative research method using a Posttest Only Control Group Design and a sample consisting of 2 classes selected randomly with a simple random sampling technique. The sample in this study was class VIII J as an experimental class using the project based learning model and VIII I as a control class using the direct instruction learning model. Data collection in this study used observation sheets of learning implementation activities by teachers and students during learning, creative performance self-efficacy questionnaire sheets, and posttests in the form of creative thinking self-efficacy test sheets. The results of this study indicate that the average posttest score of creative thinking self-efficacy of students in the experimental class was greater than the average score of creative thinking self-efficacy of students in the control class. In addition, the results of the t-test with independent samples obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.002 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Furthermore, based on the analysis of the magnitude of the influence of the implementation of the project-based learning model, it shows a figure of 11.53%. This is also reinforced by the results of the student questionnaire in the experimental class which is higher than in the control class. So it can be said that the implementation of the project-based learning model has an effect on the creative self-efficacy of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 11 Kota Jambi.
