Masalah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah siswa masih kesulitan dalam belajar perkalian dan guru belum sepenuhnya menggunakan media pembelajaran pada proses belajar mengajar dan hanya berfokus pada buku cetak dan penjelasan materi dengan metode ceramah. Sehingga kemampuan berhitung perkalian siswa kelas III SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung rendah, yang terlihat dari banyaknya siswa yang belum mencapai kriteria ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran (KKTP). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media papan perkalian dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas III SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. Serta untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan kemampuan berhitung perkalian siswa setelah menggunakan media papan perkalian pada siswa kelas III SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap 2024/2025 di SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. Meode penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebanyak dua siklus yang setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru dan siswa kelas III, yang berjumlah 18 siswa terdiri dari 14 laki-laki serta 4 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media papan perkalian dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung perkalian pada siswa kelas III SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. Hal ini dilihat pada proses pembelajaran, guru menggunakan papan perkalian sebagai alat bantu untuk memperjelas hubungan antara bilangan dan hasil perkaliannya. Siswa diajak untuk mengamati, mencari pola, dan berlatih menggunakan papan tersebut, baik secara individu maupun berkelompok. Melalui aktivitas ini, siswa dapat lebih cepat mengingat hasil perkalian serta memahami konsep dasar operasi perkalian tanpa hanya menghafal angka. Selain itu, penggunaan media papan perkalian dalam pembelajaran dapat dilalui dengan baik, baik dari aktivitas siswa maupun dari hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa mengalami peningkatan. Besar peningkatan kemampuan berhitung perkalian siswa terbukti pada saat prasiklus yang nilai rata-rata siswa diperoleh 48,61 dengan ketuntasan belajar 27,78%. Setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pada siklus I didapatkan nilai rata-rata siswa 66,11 dengan ketuntasan belajar 50%, lebih meningkat lagi pada siklus II dengan rata-rata nilai siswanya 87,22 yang ketuntasan siswa belajar mencapai 94,44%. Keberhasilan ketuntasan belajar klasikal telah melebihi targetnya 70%, maka pada siklus II dihentikan. Hasil yang diperoleh telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media papan perkalianefektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung perkalian siswa kelas III SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan sebagai referensi bagi guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif, serta memberikan manfaat bagi peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. The problem behind this study is that students still have difficulty in learning multiplication and teachers have not fully used learning media in the teaching and learning process and only focus on printed books and material explanations with the lecture method. So that the multiplication ability of grade III students of SDN 182/I Protected Forest is low, which can be seen from the number of students who have not reached the criteria for achieving learning objectives (KKTP). This study aims to describe the use of multiplication board media can improve the ability of grade III students of SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. As well as to find out how much the multiplication ability of students has increased after using the multiplication board media in the third grade students of SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. The research was carried out in the even semester of 2024/2025 at SDN 182/I Hutan Protected. The research method uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method as many as two cycles, each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study included teachers and students in grade III, which amounted to 18 students consisting of 14 males and 4 females. Data collection techniques include tests, observations, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study show that multiplication board media can improve multiplication ability in grade III students of SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. This can be seen in the learning process, teachers use the multiplication board as a tool to clarify the relationship between numbers and their multiplication results. Students are invited to observe, look for patterns, and practice using the board, both individually and in groups. Through this activity, students can remember the results of multiplication faster and understand the basic concepts of multiplication operations without just memorizing numbers.In addition, the use of multiplication board media in learning can be passed well, both from student activities and from the learning outcomes obtained by students have improved. The increase in students' multiplication ability was evident during the pre-cycle period where the average score of students was obtained 48.61 with learning completeness of 27.78%. After the implementation of the action in the first cycle, the average score of students was 66.11 with a learning completeness of 50%, even more increased in the second cycle with an average student score of 87.22 which the completeness of learning students reached 94.44%. The success of classical learning completeness has exceeded the target of 70%, so in the second cycle it was stopped. The results obtained have met the predetermined success indicators. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of multiplication board media is effective in improving the multiplication ability of grade III students of SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. This research is recommended as a reference for teachers in developing interesting and effective learning media, as well as providing benefits for improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.
