Abstract
Melalui hasil wawancara beberapa TK di Kelurahan Rawa Sari Kota Jambi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan anak dalam mengenal lambang bilangan belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting mengenalkan lambang bilangan sejak dini melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran, salah satunya media lift the flap book. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui yang dibutuhkan dalam pengembangan media lift the flap book untuk mengenalkan lambang bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun, (2) menghasilkan media pembelajaran lift the flap book yang layak sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengenalkan lambang bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun, dan (3) mengetahui respon guru terhadap media pembelajaran lift the flap book sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengenalkan lambang bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 4 guru dan 24 anak. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar angket, yaitu angket validasi ahli dan respon guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh persentase 100% dan ahli materi memperoleh 100%. Sedangkan, hasil uji kepraktisan guru memperoleh 93,75%. Dengan demikian lift the flap book layak dan praktis sebagai media pembelajaan untuk mengenalkan lambang bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Through the results of interviews with several kindergartens in Rawa Sari Subdistrict, Jambi City, it was found that children's ability to recognize numerical symbols was not yet optimal. Therefore, it is essential to introduce numerical symbols early through the use of learning media, one of which is the lift-the-flap book. The objectives of this study are (1) to identify the needs in developing a lift-the-flap book as a learning medium for introducing numerical symbols to children aged 4–5 years, (2) to produce a feasible lift-the-flap book as a learning medium for introducing numerical symbols to children aged 4–5 years, and (3) to determine teachers' responses to the lift-the-flap book as a learning medium for introducing numerical symbols to children aged 4–5 years.This study employs the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consist of 4 teachers and 24 children. The research instruments used are questionnaires, including expert validation sheets and teacher response sheets. The data analysis technique applied is quantitative data analysis. The results show that media expert validation obtained a percentage of 100%, and material expert validation also obtained 100%. Meanwhile, the practicality test by teachers achieved a score of 93.75%. Thus, the lift-the-flap book is deemed feasible and practical as a learning medium for introducing numerical symbols to children aged 4–5 years.
