Abstract
ABSTRAK Imah. Anna 2025. Analisis Strategi guru dalam menanamkan karakter kepercayaan diri anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK IT Fania Salsabila Barokah Jambi. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Jurusan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, FKIP Universitas Jambi, Pembimbing: (I) Nyimas Muazzomi, S.Ag., M.Pd.I., (II) Sri Indriani Harianja, M.Pd. Kata Kunci : Strategi Guru, Kepercayaan Diri Anak 5-6 Tahun Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan hasil pengamatan pada observasi awal yang peneliti lakukan dilapangan. Peneliti menemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa anak usia 5-6 tahun yang memiliki kepercayaan diri yang rendah dengan ditandai tidak tercapainya indikator kepercayaan diri yaitu anak menangis ketika di tinggal oleh orang tua saat disekolah, menyendiri saat teman-teman bermain, malu ketika disuruh maju kedepan kelas saat pembelajaran, dan tidak mau mengikuti pembelajaran. Faktor yang diduga penyebab rendahnya kepercayaan diri yang terjadi pada anak yaitu kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam menanamkan karakter kepercayaan diri anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dalam pebelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi data, dan teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang ditemukan peneliti, bahwa kurangnya kepercayaan diri anak usia 5-6 tahin di TK IT Fania Salsabila Barokah Jambi bukan disebabkan oleh lingkungan sekolah yang kurang mendukung, karena guru di TK tersebut telah menerapkan berbagai strategi untuk menanamkan karakter kepercayaan diri yaitu, menggunakan pembelajaran aktif dan kreatif, menggunakan pembiasaan pada anak, melatih interaksi sosial pada anak, dan memberikan reward pada anak. Keywords: Teacher Strategies, Self-Confidence of Children Aged 5–6 Years This research was motivated by the results of initial observations conducted in the field. The researcher found that some children aged 5–6 years had low self-confidence, as indicated by the failure to meet self-confidence indicators, such as crying when left by their parents at school, isolating themselves while their friends were playing, feeling shy when asked to come to the front of the class during lessons, and refusing to participate in learning activities. One of the suspected factors causing low self-confidence in children is the lack of support from the school environment. This research aims to analyze the teachers' strategies in instilling the character of self-confidence in children aged 5–6 years. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity test in this study used data triangulation, and the data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the lack of self-confidence in children aged 5–6 years at TK IT Fania Salsabila Barokah Jambi was not due to a lack of support from the school environment. This is because the teachers at the kindergarten had implemented various strategies to instill the character of self-confidence, such as using active and creative learning, habituation in children, training children's social interaction, and giving rewards to children.
