Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan utuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh implementasi flipped classroom pada pelajaran ekonomi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Flipped Classroom yang dimaksud adalah metode pembelajaran terbalik dari metode konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Two- group- pretest – posttest dengan populasi 70 siswa dan sampel berjumlah 35 siswa teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling. Data sampel tersebut kemudian diolah menggunkan uji normalitas, uji F- two sample for variances dan uji T- two sample assuming equal for variances. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada Implementasi Flipped Classroom pada pelajaran ekonomi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Muaro jambi. Disarankan agar model ini terus dikembangkan secara lebih adaptif dengan karakteristik Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pembelajaran Find, Smart, and Deep Learning. Kata kunci: Flipped Classroom, Berpikir Kritis Abstract This study aims to determine whether the implementation of the flipped classroom in economics lessons has an effect on improving the critical thinking skills of 11th grade students at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. The flipped classroom refers to a learning method that is the opposite of the conventional method. This research is an experimental study with a two-group pretest-posttest design with a population of 70 students and a sample of 35 students using purposive sampling. The sample data were then processed using normality tests, F-two sample tests for variances, and T-two sample tests assuming equal variances. Based on the research results, there is a significant effect on the implementation of the Flipped Classroom in economics lessons to improve the critical thinking skills of grade XI students at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. It is recommended that this model continue to be developed in a more adaptive manner with the characteristics of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes Find, Smart, and Deep Learning.
