Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted on the basis of a problem that occurred with the Main Tasks and Functions of the Office of Religious Affairs in the Office of Religious Affairs in the South Pamenang District, which so far many are not known by the people of South Pamenang what is the duty of the Office of Religious Affairs in the South Pamenang District and what only are the rights of citizens with this Office / Agency. So in this study it was shown to find out how the efforts made by the Office of Religious Affairs in the South Pamenang District to show what is his duty to the community. One of the efforts of this Office is to provide knowledge to the public by carrying out the Dissemination of the Implementation of the Main Tasks and Functions of the Office of Religious Affairs in the South Pamenang District. In this problem the researcher takes research that directly looks at problems that occur in the field, then the research used is descriptive qualitative research. Which in this study uses techniques and data collection through the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. The location of this research is the Office of Religious Affairs in South Pamenang District, located in Tambang Emas Village, Pamenang Selatan District, Merangin Regency. As for the results of this study that the community's lack of understanding about what is the Tupoksi Office of Religious Affairs in the South Pamenang District is not realized by the KUA, therefore the KUA has so far not carried out the Socialization of the Implementation of the Autonomous Administration of the South Pamenang Subdistrict. With the community's lack of understanding also impacting on the lack of services provided by the KUA itself, the community only thinks that the task of the KUA is only for marriage services. Keywords: Socialization, KUA, and Public Services INTISARI Penelitian ini dilaksanakan atas dasar suatu permasalahan yang terjadi dengan Tugas Pokok dan Fungsi Kantor Urusan Agama di Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Pamenang Selatan, sejauh ini banyak yang tidak di ketahui oleh masyarakat Pamenang Selatan apa yang menjadi tugas Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Pamenang Selatan dan apa saja yang menjadi hak warga dengan adanya Kantor/Instansi ini, maka dalam penelitian ini ditunjukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan oleh Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Pamenang Selatan ini untuk menunjukan apa yang menjadi tugasnya kepada masyarakat. Salah satu yang menjadi upaya Kantor ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat dengan cara melaksanakan Sosialisasi Pelaksanaan Tugas Pokok dan Fungsi Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Pamenang Selatan, upaya ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi apa yang menjadi kewajiban KUA Kecamatan Pamenang Selatan dalam melayani masyarakat. Dalam permasalahan ini peneliti mengambil penelitian yang secara langsung melihat permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan, maka penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Yang mana dalam penelitian ini mengguanakan teknik dan pengumpulan data melalui hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun lokasi penelitian ini adalah Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Pamenang Selatan yang terletak di Desa Tambang Emas, Kecamatan Pamenang Selatan, Kabupaten Merangin. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini bahwasannya ketidakpahaman masyarakat mengenai apa yang menjadi Tupoksi Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Pamenang Selatan tidak di sadari oleh pihak KUA, oleh karenanya pihak KUA sejauh ini belum melaksanakan Sosialisasi Pelaksanaan Tupoksi KUA Kecamnatan Pamenang Selatan. Dengan ketidakpahaman masyarakat juga berimbas pada minimnya pelayanan yang diberikan oleh pihak KUA sendiri, masyarakat hanya mengira bahwa tugas daripada KUA adala untuk pelayanan pernikahan saja.
