Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah siswa masih merasa kesulitan dalam pembelajaran biologi serta belum adanya pengembangan booklet filum moluska sebagai bahan ajar. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan diketahui bahwa 39% siswa kesulitan dalam pembelajaran biologi dan siswa menyatakan bahwa dibutuhkan variasi sumber belajar yang terbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan model pengembangan 4-D. Penelitian melalui beberapa tahap yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (Merancang produk), Development (Mengembangkan) dan Disseminate (Menyebarluaskan). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa booklet filum Moluska sebagai sumber belajar untuk siswa SMA kelas X dan mengetahui respon guru dan siswa terhadap media booklet yang dikembangkan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 4 Kota Jambi pada bulan Maret - September 2021. Data penelitian diperoleh dari penilaian terhadap booklet melalui angket validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, angket penilaian guru bidang studi Biologi serta angket uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data kuantitatif melalui perhitungan skor jawaban responden yang dikumpulkan melalui angket yang telah diberikan skor pada setiap pilihan jawabannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa booklet yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi moluska pada kelas X. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil validasi ahli materi yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali dengan memperoleh penilaian rata-rata sebesar 70% dengan kategori “baik” dan 82% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Validasi ahli media dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali mendapatkan penilaian rata-rata 71% dengan kategori “baik” dan 85% dengan kategori “sangat baik” . Hasil penilaian guru bidang studi biologi di SMAN 4 Kota Jambi yaitu 95% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Selanjutnya ujicoba kelompok kecil sebanyak 8 orang siswa terhadap booklet filum Moluska memperoleh penilaian rata-rata yaitu 91,3% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” serta uji coba kelompok besar pada 36 orang siswa memperoleh penilaian rata-rata sebesar 92,7% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Dari hasil penelitian ini di ketahui bahwa booklet filum moluska sebagai sumber belajar siswa kelas X dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Based on the needs analysis, it is known that 39% of students have difficulty in learning biology and students state that the latest variations of learning resources are needed. This research is a Research and Development research with a 4-D development model. The research went through several stages, namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of Mollusc phylum booklets as a learning resource for high school students in class X and to find out the responses of teachers and students to the developed booklet media. The research was conducted at SMAN 4 Jambi City in March - September 2021. The research data was obtained from an assessment of the booklet through a material expert and media expert validation questionnaire, a Biology teacher assessment questionnaire as well as a small group trial questionnaire and a large group trial. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out by collecting quantitative data through the calculation of the respondents' answer scores collected through a questionnaire that had been given a score for each answer choice. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the booklet that has been developed is feasible to be used as a learning medium for mollusc material in class X. This can be seen from the results of the material expert validation carried out 2 times by obtaining an average rating of 70% in the "good" category and 82 % with the category "very good". Media expert validation was carried out 2 times getting an average rating of 71% in the "good" category and 85% in the "very good" category. The results of the teacher's assessment in the field of biology studies at SMAN 4 Jambi City are 95% with the "very good" category. Furthermore, the small group trial of 8 students on the Mollusc phylum booklet obtained an average rating of 91.3% which was included in the "very good" category and the large group trial of 36 students obtained an average rating of 92.7% which included in the "very good" category. From the results of this study, it is known that the phylum mollusk booklet as a learning resource for class X students is declared suitable for use in learning.
