Kata Kunci : Peran Guru, Hasil Kognitif, Peserrta Didik Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik tema 8 subtema 2 di kelas IV B di SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IV B SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan tahapan pertama reduksi data, kedua penyajian data, ketika verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan melalui kegiatan wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi, maka didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut 1) guru sebagai pengajar, guru telah mampu melakukan persiapan diri agar dapat memahami dan menguasai materi pembelajaran yang dilakukan, agar hasil kognitif pada tema 8 subtema 2 dapat meningkat; 2) guru sebagai manajer, guru telah dapat membuat dan menciptakan kondisi pembelajaran yang baik agar peserta didik dapat belajar dengan nyaman dan semangat, hal tersebut dilakukan agar peserta didik mampu meningkatkan hasil kognitif pada tema 8 subtema 2; 3) guru sebagai inovator, guru telah melakukan pembaharuan terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran dan mengaitkan materi pelajaran dengan kehidupan peserta didik, sehingga terlihat adanya peningkatan terhadap hasil kognitif pada tema 8 subtema 2 pada peserta didik; 4) guru sebagai fasilitator, guru telah menyediakan dan memberikan fasilitas yang baik kepada peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik mengalami peningkatan terhadap hasil kognitif pada tema 8 subtema 2; 5) guru sebagai evaluator, guru telah melakukan kegiatan penilaian baik secara tertulis maupun secara lisan, dan dengan adanya penilain tersebut sehingga peserta didik sudah mengalami peningkatan terhadap hasil kognitif pada tema 8 subtema 2. Keywords: Teacher's Role, Cognitive Outcomes, Students This study aims to describe the teacher's role in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in theme 8 sub-theme 2 in grade IV B at SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenological research. The source of the data in this study was the fourth grade B teacher of SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by the first stage of data reduction, secondly data presentation, during verification. Based on the results of research that has been carried out through interviews, observations and documentation, the following results are obtained: 1) the teacher as a teacher, the teacher has been able to prepare himself so that he can understand and master the learning material carried out, so that the cognitive results in theme 8 sub-theme 2 can be increase; 2) teachers as managers, teachers have been able to create and create good learning conditions so that students can learn comfortably and enthusiastically, this is done so that students are able to improve cognitive outcomes in theme 8 sub-theme 2; 3) the teacher as an innovator, the teacher has made updates to learning activities and linked the subject matter to the lives of students, so that there is an increase in cognitive outcomes in theme 8 sub-theme 2 for students; 4) the teacher as a facilitator, the teacher has provided and provided good facilities to students, so that students experience an increase in cognitive outcomes in theme 8 sub-theme 2; 5) the teacher as an evaluator, the teacher has carried out assessment activities both in writing and orally, and with the assessment so that students have experienced an increase in cognitive outcomes in theme 8 sub-theme 2.
