Abstract

Abstrak : Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat, dapat membantu peserta didik dalam belajar, sehingga mampu meningkatkan hasil dan motivasinya dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif berbantuan Kahoot terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA N 4 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA N 4 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian peserta didik kelas XI F 1 dan kelas XI F 2. Hasil pengujian hipotesis nilai pretest kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen didapatkan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,002 < 0,05. Pengujian hipotesis nilai postest kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen didapatkan hasil bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata rata nilai pretest dan postest kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sehingga Ho ditolak dan HI diterima. Analisis data motivasi belajar peserta didik diperoleh sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan Kahoot sebagai media pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran biologi, dikarenakan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar, Motivasi, Kahoot Abstract : The use of appropriate learning media can help students learn, so they can improve their results and motivation in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of Kahoot-assisted interactive media on cognitive learning outcomes and learning motivation of students in learning biology at SMA N 4 Jambi City. This research was conducted at SMA N 4 Jambi City. This research is a quantitative study with research samples of students in class XI F 1 and class XI F 2. The results of testing the hypothesis of the pretest value of the control class and the experimental class found that the sig. (2-tailed) 0.002 < 0.05. Testing the hypothesis of the posttest value of the control class and the experimental class showed that the sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 This shows that there is a difference in the mean pretest and posttest scores of the control class and the experimental class so that Ho is rejected and HI is accepted. Analysis of students' learning motivation data obtained sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of Kahoot as a learning medium has an effect on cognitive learning outcomes and students' learning motivation in biology learning, because there is a significant difference between learning outcomes and students' learning motivation in the control class and the experimental class.
