Abstract

Layanan informasi merupakan salah satu usaha membantu siswa dalam pemahaman karir yang akan diambil di mana layanan informasi berisi tentang informasi-informasi yang berhubungan dengan karir siswa, maka sangat tepat bila digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memantapkan karir siswa. Berdasarkan fakta yang ada di lapangan pengaplikasian layanan informasi karir masih banyak hambatan-hambatan seperti, siswa kurang paham dengan materi layanan informasi yang diberikan guru BK, siswa takut bertukar pendapat dengan guru BK, serta kuranganya minat siswa dalam mendengarkan layanan informasi yang diberikan. Berhasilnya sebuah layanan didasari bagaimana persepsi siswa terhadap layanan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan mendeskripsikan seperti apa persepsi siswa terhadap layanan informasi karir yang diberikan oleh guru BK di SMA Adhyaksa Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, serta yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 147 siswa dan yang menjadi sampel yaitu 60 siswa dengan teknik random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa angket persepsi siswa terhadap layanan informasi karir di SMA berjumlah 30 item penyataan yang telah disebarkan dan diolah menggunakan rumus formula C bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap layanan informasi karir di SMA berada pada kategori “tinggi” yaitu sebesar 71,2% berdasarkan kriteria penafsiran persentase. Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Layanan Informasi Karir. Information services are one of the efforts to help students in understanding the careers that will be taken where information services contain information related to student careers, so it is very appropriate when used to improve the ability to strengthen student careers. Based on the facts in the field, there are still many obstacles to the application of career information services, such as students not understanding the information service material provided by the counseling teacher, students are afraid to exchange opinions with the counseling teacher, and students' lack of interest in listening to the information services provided. The success of a service is based on how students perceive the service. This study aims to reveal and describe what kind of students' perceptions of career information services provided by counseling teachers at Adhyaksa High School, Jambi City. This study used descriptive research with a quantitative approach, and the population in this study were 147 students in class X and the sample was 60 students using random sampling technique. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire or a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Based on the results of the research and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that the questionnaire on student perceptions of career information services in high school totaled 30 statement items that had been disseminated and processed using formula C that student perceptions of career information services in high school were in the "high" category, which was equal to 71.2% based on the percentage interpretation criteria.
