Abstract

Abstrak Persiapan yang matang sangat dibutuhkan oleh para calon sarjana sebelum berkompetisi dalam mencari pekerjaan di dunia kerja sehingga dapat dikatakan memiliki kesiapan dalam bekerja. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kesiapan kerja mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2020 dikarenakan rendahnya perilaku asertif mahasiswa dan rendahnya kemampuan berkomunikasi dalam lingkup dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku asertif dan kemampuan komunikasi terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2020 Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket, sampel sebanyak 71 mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2020 Universitas Jambi yang diambil secara sampling jenuh. Metode analisis data dengan Analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji multikolioneritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji parsial (uji t), uji simultan (uji F) dan uji koefisien determinasi simultan (R2 ). Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh perilalaku asertif terhadap kesiapan kerja diperoleh dari nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 3,844 > 1,667, (2) Terdapat pengaruh kemampuan komunikasi terhadap kesiapan kerja diperoleh dari nilai thitung> ttabel yaitu 4,938 > 1.667, dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh perilaku asertif dan kemampuan komunikasi terhadap kesiapan kerja yang diperoleh dari nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 12,283 > 3,130 dan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,274 yang berarti kontribusi literasi keuangan dan kontrol diri sebesar 27,4% sedangkan sisanya 72,6% dipengaruhi oleh variable lain yang tidak dijelaskan pada penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan agar mahasiswa mampu meningkatkan kesiapan kerja menjadi lebih baik melalui faktor-faktor seperti perilaku asertif dan kemampuan komunikasi. Abstract Careful preparation is needed by prospective graduates before competing in finding jobs in the world of work so that they can be said to be ready to work. The problem in this research is the lack of work readiness of economics education students class of 2020 due to low student assertive behavior and low ability to communicate within the world of work. This study aims to determine the effect of assertive behavior and communication skills on the work readiness of students of the Economics Education study program class of 2020, University of Jambi. This research is a type of quantitative research with descriptive methods. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire, a sample of 71 Economics Education students Batch of 2020 Jambi University was taken by saturated sampling. Methods of data analysis with descriptive analysis, normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, partial test (t test), simultaneous test (F test) and simultaneous determination coefficient test (R2). Based on the results obtained, it shows that: (1) There is an influence of assertive behavior on work readiness obtained from the value of tcount> ttable, namely 3.844> 1.667, (2) There is an influence of communication skills on work readiness obtained from the value of tcount> ttable, namely 4.938> 1.667, and (3) There is an influence of assertive behavior and communication skills on work readiness obtained from the value of Fcount > Ftable, namely 12.283 > 3.130 and the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.274 which means that the contribution of financial literacy and self-control is 27.4% while the remaining 72. 6% is influenced by other variables not explained in this study. From the results of this study it is suggested that students are able to improve work readiness to be better through factors such as assertive behavior and communication skills.
