Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan teknik koreksi teman sejawat dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi definisi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 25 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 25 Kota Jambi pada tahun ajaran genap. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara melakukan wawancara terhadap guru Bahasa Indonesia (sebagai data utama) dan hasil karya teks eksposisi siswa sebelum dan setelah dikoreksi oleh teman sejawatnya (sebagai data penunjang).Setelah data diperoleh, data dianalisis secara kualitataif dengan cara mengumpulkan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengikuti apersepsi pada setiap proses pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, dimana setiap pertemuan yang dilakukan tampak menunjukkan sikap aktif dan percaya diri siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran teks eksposi definisi berbantuan teknik koreksi teman sejawat. Penerapan teknikkoreksi teman sejawat ini juga mampu membuat suasana kelas menjadi tenang dan siswa fokus mengikuti setiap proses pembelajaran. Pada pertemuan kedua, tampak sudah banyak yang mulai memahami teknik koreksi teman sejawat ini, sehingga keaktifan siswa pun meningkat. Pada pertemuan terakhir dari pembelajaran dengan menerapkan teknik koreksi teman sejawat, tampak hampir keseluruhan dari jumlah siswa di kelas aktif dan antusias. Keaktifan dan kesungguhan siswa dalam melakukan teknik koreksi teman sejawat semakin terlihat pada pertemuan ketiga, hal ini peneliti temukan selama proses pengamatan. Meningkatnya minat dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi definisi. Keberhasilan proses belajar tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dan pelaksanaan teknik koreksi teman sejawat sudah berjalan efektif. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan agar guru bisa menerapkan teknik koreksi teman sejawat dalam pembelajaran teks yang lainnya. Semakin sering teknik koreksi teman sejawat ini diterapkan, maka siswa semakin aktif dan percaya diri di dalam proses pembelajaran. Dari penelitian ini mampu menjadi gambaran bahwa, semakin baik perencanaan dan pemilihan teknik pembelajaran, maka hasil pembelajaran juga akan semakin baik. Sari, Fika Puspita. 2023. This study aims to describe the planning and implementation of peer correction techniques in learning to write exposition text definitions for class VIII students of SMPN 25 Jambi City. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 25 Jambi City in an even school year. The research data was obtained by conducting interviews with the Indonesian teacher (as the main data) and the students' exposition text works before and after being corrected by their colleagues (as supporting data). After the data was obtained, the data were analyzed qualitatively by collecting data, presenting the data. , and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students followed apperception in each learning process. This is evidenced by observations made by researchers, where each meeting held showed an active and confident attitude of students in participating in the learning process of definitional exposure text assisted by peer correction techniques. The application of this peer correction technique is also able to make the class atmosphere calm and students focus on participating in each learning process. At the second meeting, it seemed that many had begun to understand this peer-to-peer correction technique, so that the students' activeness increased. At the last meeting of the lesson by applying peer correction techniques, it appeared that almost the entire number of students in the class were active and enthusiastic. The activeness and seriousness of students in carrying out peer correction techniques was increasingly seen in the third meeting, this was found by the researchers during the observation process. Increased student interest and motivation in following learning to write a definition exposition text. The success of the learning process shows that the planning and implementation of peer correction techniques has been running effectively. From the results of this study it is suggested that teachers can apply peer correction techniques in learning other texts. The more technique This peer correction is applied, so students are more active and confident in the learning process. From this research it is able to illustrate that, the better the planning and selection of learning techniques, the better the learning outcomes will also be.
