Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran biologi kelas XI SMA pada materi sistem ekskresi, mengetahui kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan, mengetahui penilaian guru bidang studi biologi, dan respon siswa terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4-D terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi pada bulan November 2023. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini terdiri atas 31 orang siswa kelas XII IPA yang telah mempelajari materi sistem ekskresi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah instrument wawancara, angket validasi ahli materi dan media untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk, angket penilaian guru bidang studi biologi, dan angket respon siswa kelas XII IPA. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan materi dan media video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan “sangat layak”. (85% dan 95%). Demikian pula penilaian guru (87.5%) dan respon siswa (93.3%) termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Video pembelajaran biologi ini dapat diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran biologi di SMA N 15 Muaro Jambi This research aims to develop biology learning videos for XI grade class high school students, especially on the topic of the excretory system. The development model used is a 4-D model, consisting of four stages, namely definition, design, development and dissemination. The research was carried out at SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi in November 2023, with research subjects consisting of thirty-one class XII Science students who had studied excretory system material. Data collection instruments include interview guides, material and media validation questionnaires to assess product suitability, teacher assessment questionnaires in the field of biology studies, and class XII science student response questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results showed that the learning video materials and media developed were assessed as "very feasible" by the material and media validators, with approval levels of 85% and 95%. The teacher's assessment of the product reached 87.5%, while the student response reached 93.3%, both included in the "very good" category. Therefore, the biology learning videos produced from this research can be implemented in the learning process at SMA N 15 Muaro Jambi
