Abstract

Kreativitas anak usia dini perlu distimulasi namun masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan diantaranya anak kurang memiliki daya imajinasi, ada beberapa anak kurang bereksplorasi, sebagian anak kurang berminat dalam mencoba hal-hal baru, ada beberapa anak masih meniru kegiatan temannya dan perlu arahan dari guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media loose parts terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Yunico Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre-Experimental Designs dengan bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 13 anak pada kelas B1. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi nonparcipant. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan lembar observasi sebagai instrumen penelitian yang telah diuji validasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Paired Samples Test. Hasil dari analisis data menggunakan pengujian hipotesis uji-t Paired Samples Test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 <0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Yunico Kota Jambi pada data pre test dan post test. Untuk melihat berapa besar pengaruh, dapat diketahui dengan perhitungan effect size menggunakan rumus cohen’s, besarnya pengaruh penggunaan media loose parts terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Yunico Kota Jambi sebesar 7,36. Hasil tersebut didalam tabel kriteria interpretasi nilai cohen’s termasuk kedalam kategori yang berefek kuat (strong effect) terhadap peningkatan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian dan pembahasan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media loose parts berpengaruh positif terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahu di TK Yunico Kota Jambi. Early childhood creativity needs to be stimulated but there are still several problems including children lacking imagination, some children lack exploration, some children lack interest in trying new things, some children still imitate their friends' activities and need direction from the teacher. This study aims to determine the effect of using loose parts media on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Yunico Kindergarten, Jambi City. This study uses the Pre-Experimental Designs method with the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study were 13 children in class B1. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by nonparcipant observation method. In this study, researchers used observation sheets as research instruments that had been tested for validation. Data analysis techniques used in this study used normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using Paired Samples Test. The results of data analysis using Paired Samples Test t-test hypothesis testing obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Yunico Kindergarten, Jambi City on pre-test and post-test data. To see how much influence, it can be seen by calculating the effect size using the cohen's formula, the magnitude of the effect of using loose parts media on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Yunico Kindergarten, Jambi City is 7.36. These results in the table of criteria for interpreting the cohen's value are included in the category that has a strong effect on increasing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is concluded that the use of loose parts media has a positive effect on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Yunico Kindergarten, Jambi City.
