Abstract

ABSTRAK LATAR BELAKANG Pandemi COVID-19 yang terjadi mengakibatkan perubahan sistem pembelajaran dari luring menjadi daring. Namun, pada akhir tahun 2022 Indonesia telah memulai tahap menuju endemi COVID-19. Hal ini berdasarkan penurunan kasus infeksi COVID-19 yang terjadi di Indonesia. Hal ini membuat segala aktivitas kembali normal, diantaranya kembalinya siswa ke sekolah. Akan tetapi, kembalinya siswa ke sekolah masih menyisakan kesulitan bagi siswa terutama dalam memahami pelajaran. Hal ini dikarenakan pelajaran yang sebelumnya pada saat pandemi (daring) masih kurang dipahami oleh siswa, sedangkan materi-materi saat ini saling berkaitan. Hal ini mengakibatkan siswa merasa terbebani dan memilih untuk tidak mengikuti pelajaran secara maksimal. METODE Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive random sampling. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 170 orang siswa MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi. HASIL Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara daya juang dengan prestasi belajar dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,410 dengan p value < 0.003. KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN Daya juang memiliki hubungan dengan prestasi belajar pada siswa MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. However, by the end of 2022, Indonesia had entered a phase transitioning from a pandemic to an endemic state of COVID-19. This was based on the decrease in COVID-19 infection cases in Indonesia. Consequently, activities returned to normal, including the return of students to schools. However, the return of students to school still posed difficulties, especially in understanding lessons. This was due to the previous online learning during the pandemic being insufficiently understood by students, while the current materials are interconnected. As a result, students felt overwhelmed and opted not to fully engage in the lessons. METHOD This research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. The sampling technique used purposive random sampling. The subjects of this study were 170 students of MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Data analysis technique used correlation test. RESULTS The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive correlation between adversity quotient and learning achievement with a correlation coefficient of 0.410 with a p-value < 0.003. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS Adversity quotient is correlated with learning achievement among students of MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. The conducted research is expected to provide knowledge about the importance of adversity quotient, which influences the level of learning achievement.
