Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video animasi cerita rakyat terhadap kemampuan menulis teks ulasan karya fiksi pada kelas VIII SMP N 11 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa VIII I SMP Negeri 11 Kota Jambi tahun ajaran 2023/2024, berjumlah 35 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Validitas data yang diterpakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan instrumen tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik inferensial yaitu untuk menguji keberhasilan dengan hasil belajar sebelum dan hasil belajar sesudah melakukan tindakan dengan menggunakan uji normalitas data, uji homogenitas data, dan uji hipotesis dengan uji ”t”. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pada hasil pretest siswa memperoleh rata-rata 73,57 dan hasil postest siswa dengan rata-rata 78,71. Adapun hasil analisis Paired Samples Test (uji t test) hasil belajar siswa setelah diberi perlakuan (penggunaan media video animasi cerita rakyat dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan karya fiksi) menunjukkan nilai sig (2 tailed) = 0,094 > 0,05 berarti Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa setelah diberi perlakuan (Penggunaan media media video animasi cerita rakyat pada pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan karya fiksi siswa kelas VIII SMP N 11 Kota Jambi). This research aims to determine the influence of folklore animated video media on the ability to write review texts for works of fiction in class VIII of SMP N 11 Jambi City. This research is a type of quantitative research. The subjects of this research were students of VIII I SMP Negeri 11 Jambi City for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 35 students. The data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. The validity of the data used in this research is using test instruments. The data analysis technique used is inferential statistical analysis, namely to test success with learning outcomes before and learning outcomes after taking action using the data normality test, data homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing with the "t" test. The results of this research are that the students' pretest results obtained an average of 73.57 and the students' posttest results obtained an average of 78.71. The results of the analysis of the Paired Samples Test (t test) of student learning outcomes after being given treatment (the use of animated folklore video media in learning to write review texts for works of fiction) shows a sig value (2 tailed) = 0.094 > 0.05, meaning Ho is accepted and Ha rejected. It can be concluded that there is no significant influence on student learning outcomes after being given treatment (Use of folklore animated video media in learning to write review texts for works of fiction for class VIII students at SMP N 11 Jambi City).
