Abstract
Berdasarkan masalah yang diidentifikasi dilapangan, terdapat kepuasan pengunjung yang masih kurang terhadap fasilitas perpustakaan seperti akses internet yang tidak memadai, dan masih banyak koleksi buku yang belum terbarukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh fasilitas perpustakaan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung di perpustakaan FKIP Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa/i FKIP yang berkunjung ke perpustakaan FKIP Universitas Jambi dihitung dari rata-rata berkunjung dalam waktu mingguan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 52 responden. Teknik pengumpuln data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui penyebaran angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, diketahui nilai signifikansi (Sig) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang berarti ada pengaruh antara fasilitas perpustakaan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung. (2) Berdasarkan hasil uji T dengan nilai thitung 9,464 > ttabel 2,306, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, dengan kata lain ada Pengaruh antara Fasilitas Perpustakaan (X) terhadap Kepuasan Pengunjung (Y). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa fasilitas perpustakaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung di Perpustakaan FKIP Universitas Jambi. Based on the problems identified in the field, there is still a lack of visitor satisfaction with library facilities such as inadequate internet access, and there are still many collections of books that have not been updated. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of library facilities on visitor satisfaction in the FKIP University of Jambi library. This study uses a quantitative method with an ex-post facto research design. The population used in this study were FKIP students who visited the FKIP University of Jambi library calculated from the average visit within a week. The sampling technique used a simple random sampling technique of 52 respondents. The data collection technique in this study used primary data through the distribution of questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that (1) Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the significance value (Sig) is 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is an influence between library facilities and visitor satisfaction. (2) Based on the results of the T test with a calculated t value of 9.464 > t table 2.306, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, in other words there is an influence between Library Facilities (X) on Visitor Satisfaction (Y). So it can be concluded that library facilities have a positive and significant influence on visitor satisfaction at the FKIP Library, Jambi University.
