Abstract

M. Ari Habillah, 2025: “Pemeranan tokoh rahman dalam naskah orang-orang setia karya Iswadi Pratama”. Skripsi Program Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik: Skripsi Jurusan Sejarah, Seni dan Arkeologi FKIP Universitas Jambi, Pembimbing (I) Ikhsan satria irianto, S. Sn., M. Sn., Pembimbing (II) Tofan Gustiawan, S. Sn., M. Sn. Naskah “Orang-orang Setia” karya Iswadi Pratama merupakan sebuah representasi naskah drama bergaya realisme sosial yang menekankan dialektika idealisme dan pragmatisme pada konflik kemiskinan. Tulisan ini memiliki fokus bagaimana proses pemeranan tokoh Rahman sebagai kaum proletar yang menjadi pusat penggerak cerita dalam naskah ini. Tujuan dari penulisan ini: (1) mewujudkan tokoh Rahman menggunakan teori dan metode pemeranan yang komprehensif; dan (2) mendata proses kreatif penciptaan pemeranan yang autentik. Metodologi proses pemeranan dalam tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan keaktoran psikologis (Inner Act) dari Constantin Stanislavsky yang diterapkan melalui tahapan sistematis: (1) Analisis tekstual secara komprehensif untuk mengidentifikasi penokohan tokoh Rahman; (2) Mengidentifikasi kontekstual untuk memahami sosiologis tokoh secara komprehensif; serta (3) eksplorasi fisik dan vokal secara intens untuk memanifestasikan perilaku tokoh yang autentik. Temuan utama dalam tulisan ini adalah konsepsi tokoh rahman sebagai karakter yang merepresentasikan keteguhan prinsip dibagian luar, namun menyembunyikan kerapuhan mental dan keyakinan didalamnya. Hal tersebut diwujudkan melalui fisikal dan vokal tokoh Rahman yang menyimpan beban psikologis. Tantangan utama dalam proses ini adalah penyajian komplesitas psikologis tokoh Rahman dalam tiap-tiap adegan. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi metode Inner Act Stanislavsky pada aktor dalam naskah ini tidak hanya menghasilkan validitas tekstual, namun eksplorasi psikologis yang mampu diwujudkan melalui aksi fisik sehingga menciptakan karakter yang autentik dalam naskah ini dapat tercapai, dan mampu merefleksikan dengan efektif tentang isi pada naskah ini. The script "Orang-orang Setia" by Jawadi Pratama is a representation of a drama script with a social realism style that presents a dialectic of idealism and pragmatism in community conflicts. This paper focuses on how the process of portraying the character of Rahman as the main commissar who becomes the driving force of the story in this script. The objectives of this writing are (1) to embody the character of Rahman using a comprehensive acting theory and method; (2) to create a creative process for an interesting performance. The methodological process of this portrayal is based on the use of a psychological acting approach (Inner Act) from Constantin Stanislavsky which is applied through systematic stages: (1) Comprehensive textual analysis to identify the characterization of Rahman; (2) Contextual identification to understand the character's sociology comprehensively; and (3) Physical and vocal exploration to manifest authentic character behavior. The main finding in this paper is that the concept of the character of Rahman is a character who represents the firmness of a luw. through balancing mental and belief aspects in his private space. This is manifested through the physical and vocal exploration of Rahman who carries a psychological burden. The main technology in this process is the serving of Rahman's psychological complexity in each scene. Thus, the implementation of Stanislavsky's Inner Act method by the actor in this script not only produces textual validity, but the exploration of the psychology that is able to be manifested through action and physicality so as to create an authentic character in the script can be achieved, and is able to be effectively reflected in this script.
