Abstract

Kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan merupakan kemampuan matematika dasar yang penting untuk distimulasikan pada anak sejak dini. Namun, sesuai observasi awal yang dilaksanakan di TK Al-Furqon pada masih banyak anak yang belum berkembang secara optimal kemampuan dalam mengenal konsep bilangan. Hal ini tentunya perlu solusi yang tepat dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, salah satunya menggunakan media Activity Box. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Activity Box terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Al-Furqon Sekernan Muaro Jambi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan metode Pre-Eksperimental Design bentuk One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Pengambilan data disini menggunakan teknik Observasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai Thitung 25,559 > Ttabel 2,139 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media Activity Box terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Al-Furqon Sekernan Muaro Jambi. The ability to recognize the concept of numbers is a basic mathematical skill that is important to be stimulated in children from an early age. However, in reality, there are still many children who are less than optimal in recognizing the concept of numbers. This certainly requires an appropriate solution to overcome this problem, one of which is using Activity Box media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Activity Box media on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers of children aged 4-5 years in Al-Furqon Sekernan Muaro Jambi Kindergarten. The method used is descriptive Quantitative with the Pre-Experimental Design method in the form of One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Data collection here used Observation technique. The results of data analysis showed a Tcount value of 25.559 > Ttable 2.139 then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of Activity Box media on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers of children aged 4-5 years in Al-Furqon Sekernan Muaro Jambi
