Abstract

Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia mengeluarkan Surat Edaran Nomor 4 Tahun 2020 Tentang Pelaksanaan Kebijakan Pendidikan Dalam Masa Darurat Penyebaran Covid. Kebijakan tersebut diambil sebagai upaya untuk memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19 di lingkungan sekolah. Surat edaran tersebut menjelaskan bahwa pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar dilaksanakan dirumah melalui pembelajaran daring. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring terkadang menimbulkan berbagai kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan proses belajar, kesulitan belajar dan penyebab siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar biologi secara daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendeketan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA dengan jumlah 10 orang yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran biologi secara daring dan guru mata pelajaran biologi kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, kuisioner google form dan wawancara. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan cara member check. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pelaksanaan proses belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi selama masa pandemi covid-19 di SMA Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi dilakukan secara daring. Kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa yaitu sumber belajar terbatas, jaringan internet yang kurang baik, terdapat siswa yang tidak memiliki smartphone, sering mematikan kamera saat dilakukan google meet, siswa merasa terbebani dengan tugas yang diberikan, kurangnya waktu yang tersedia dan tidak berkonsentrasi dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Penyebab siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar adalah tidak ada usaha dari siswa untuk mencari sumber belajar, terbatasnya jaringan internet, smartphone yang dimiliki siswa dalam keadaan kurang baik, lingkungan rumah yang tidak kondusif, sering terjadi pemadaman listrik sehingga mengganggu koneksi internet, siswa tidak memahami materi, waktu yang terjadwal dalam pembelajaran daring kurang dan lingkungan rumah yang ramai. The Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued Circular Letter Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policies in the Emergency Period of the Spread of Covid. This policy was taken as an effort to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 in the school environment. The circular explains that the implementation of the teaching and learning process is carried out at home through online learning. Implementation of learning that causes various difficulties faced by students. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the learning process, learning difficulties and the causes of students having difficulty learning biology boldly. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA with a total of 10 people who took biology class X MIA at SMA Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi. Data collection techniques used are documentation, google form questionnaires and interviews. Validity test is done by member check. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the student learning process in biology subjects during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi was carried out boldly. The learning experiences experienced by students are limited learning resources, internet networks are not good, there are students who have smartphones, often turn off the camera when doing a google meet, students feel burdened with the tasks given, lack of available time and do not concentrate in following the learning process. The causes of students having learning difficulties are that there is no effort from students to find learning resources, limited internet networks, smartphones owned by students are not in good condition, the home environment is not conducive, frequent power outages that interfere with internet connections, students do not understand the material, time scheduled in less daring learning and a crowded home environment.
