Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model problem solving terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas V di sekolah dasar menyelesaikan soal Hots pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi magner, listrik, dan teknologi untuk kehidupan. Metode penelitian ini ialah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design dengan metode One Grup Test. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian berupa tes pre test dan post test, yang dimana dilakukan pengukuran sebelum diberi perlakuan dan setelah diberikan perlakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 30/I Pulau Betung. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas V yang terdiri dari satu kelas yang memiliki 25 siswa, yang semua siswa dijadikan sampel. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui soal pre test dan soal post test. Setelah itu data dianalisi dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxom Signed Rank Test, yang kemudian mendapatkan hasil nilai signifikasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,000 ini lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti hipotesis adanya perbedaan nilai pre-test dan post-test kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal hots sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan model pembelajaran problem solving diterima. Berdasarkan hasil uji prasyarat sebelum melakukan uji hipotesis, hasil mengujikan uji normalitas dengan hasil yang diketahui nilai signifikasi nya lebih kecil dari < 0,05, maka nilai data tidak berdistribusi normal dengan keputusan uji yaitu Ha ditolak. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon signed rank test, hasil yang diperoleh yaitu nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 ini lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti hipotesis adanya perbedaan nilai pre-test dan post-test kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal hots sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan model pembelajaran problem solving diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa adanya pengaruh model problem solving terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal higher order thinking skills (HOTS) pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V sekolah dasar. This study aims to determine the influence of the problem solving model on the ability of fifth grade students in elementary schools to solve HOTS questions in the subject of science on magnets, electricity, and technology for life. This research method is a quantitative research method with an experimental research type. The design of this experimental research uses Quasi Experimental Design with the One Group Test method. This study involved fifth grade students consisting of one class with 25 students, all of whom were used as samples. The research data were obtained through pre-test and post-test questions. After that, the data was analyzed using the Wilcoxom Signed Rank Test, which then obtained the results of the significance value obtained of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, which means that the hypothesis of a difference in pre-test and post-test values ​​​​of students' ability to solve HOTS questions before and after using the problem solving learning model is accepted. Based on the results of the prerequisite test before conducting the hypothesis test, the results of testing the normality test with the results of which the significance value is known to be less than <0.05, then the data value is not normally distributed with the test decision, namely Ha is rejected. Furthermore, a hypothesis test was carried out using the Wilcoxon signed rank test, the results obtained were a significance value of 0.000 which was less than 0.05, which means that the hypothesis of a difference in pre-test and post-test values ​​​​of students' ability to solve HOTS questions before and after the use of the problem solving learning model was accepted. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there was an influence of the problem solving model on the ability to solve higher order thinking skills (HOTS) questions in the subject of science for grade V of elementary school.
