Kata kunci : Problematika, Skripsi, Motivasi Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematika yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2021 Universitas Jambi dalam proses penyusunan skripsi. Fokus utama penelitian ini meliputi, gambaran kendala yang dialami mahasiswa, faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya problematika, serta solusi dan langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh mahasiswa dalam mengatasi suatu permasalahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ialah mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2021, Universitas Jambi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara medalam, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta mengola hasil menggunakan aplikasi Nvivo 12 untuk mengelompokan data. Sedangkan uji keabsaan data dilakukan dengan Triangulasi Teknik dan sumber. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menghadapi berbagai problematika, seperti kurangnya komunikasi dengan dosen pembimbing, manajemen waktu yang kurang baik, timbulnya rasa malas dalam diri mahasiswa, serta keterbatasan wacana dan pengetahuan. Faktor penyebab berasal dari aspek internal dan eksternal. Sebagai bentuk solusi, mahasiswa meningkatkan komunikasi dengan dosen pembimbing, meningkatkan motivasi diri, berdiskusi dengan teman, serta memanajemn waktu. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pentingnya pemahaman mengenai problematika mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi guna sebagai dasar pertimbangan bagi mahasiswa dimasa mendatang. ABSTRAC Keywords: Problems, Thesis, Motivation This study aims to analyze the problems faced by students of the Economic Education Study Program, class of 2021, Jambi University in the process of writing their thesis. The main focus of this study includes a description of the obstacles experienced by students, the factors that cause the problems, and the solutions and steps taken by students in overcoming a problem. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach and descriptive research type. The subjects of the study were students of the Economic Education Class of 2021, Jambi University. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, as well as processing the results using the Nvivo 12 application to group the data. Meanwhile, the validity test of the data was carried out using Triangulation Techniques and sources. The results of the study show that students face various problems, such as lack of communication with the supervisor, poor time management, the emergence of laziness in students, and limited discourse and knowledge. The causal factors come from internal and external aspects. As a form of solution, students improve communication with their supervisors, increase self-motivation, discuss with friends, and manage time. This finding confirms the importance of understanding students' problems in compiling a thesis as a basis for consideration for students in the future.
