Herman Budiyono, M. Pd. (II) Hilman Yusra, S.Pd, M.Pd. Kata Kunci : Make A Match, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Tanggapan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran Make A Match terhadap keterampilan menulis teks tanggapan tepatnya struktur teks tanggapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Quasi Eksperiment Design, data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara memberikan instrumen penelitian berupa Pretest dan Posttest pada kelas IX SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Ilmi 2 Kota Jambi. Data diolah dengan analisis deskriptif statistik dan uji beda Independent Samples Test menggunakan bantuan program IBM SPSS 26. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik parametrik (uji-t) untuk membandingkan hasil data antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Melalui pemberian pretest dan posttest pada kedua kelas, diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar menulis struktur teks tanggapan antara kelas kontrol (IX-E) rata-rata 75,36 dan kelas eksperimen (IX�A) rata-rata 89,09. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa menerapkan model pembelajaran Make A Match pada kelas eksperimen terbukti efektif dalam memantik peserta didik dan memotivasi kemauan belajar peserta didik. Dan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dapat diketahui bahwa hasil data nilai dari Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000. Maka, Ha diterima karena nilai tersebut kurang dari 0,05 dan dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran Make A Match efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan pada peserta didik kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan dan informasi dalam upaya pembelajaran multi arah yang fokus pada pemahaman peserta didik, pendidik seebagai fasilitator hendaknya dapat bersifat dinamis dalam perkembangan pembelajaran di masa saat ini yang mengedepankan model pembelajaran Make A Match dengan begitu tujuan awal pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Keywords: Make A Match, Response Text Writing Skills This study aims to examine the effect of the Make A learning model Match to the writing skills of the response text, precisely the structure of the text response. This study uses a quantitative research method with a research design Quasi Experiment Design, research data obtained by giving research instruments in the form of Pretest and Posttest in class IX Islamic Middle School Integrated Nurul Ilmi 2 Jambi City. Data is processed by statistical descriptive analysis and the Independent Samples Test different tests using the help of the IBM program SPSS 26. Data collection techniques include interviews, tests, and documentation. This study uses a parametric statistical test (t-test) to compare data results between the control and experimental classes. Through giving pretest and posttest in both classes, it is known that there is a significant difference in the results of learning to write text structures the response between the control class (IX-E) averaged 75.36 and the experimental class (IX A) averaged 89.09. This shows that applying the learning model Make A Match in the experimental class proved to be effective in triggering participants students and motivate students' willingness to learn. And the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test it can be seen that the results of the value data from Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000. So, Ha is accepted because the value is less than 0.05 and can it is said that the Make A Match learning model is effectively used in learning to write response text in experimental class students compared to the control class. From the results of this study are expected to be a reference and information in efforts multi-directional learning that focuses on understanding students, educators as a facilitator should be dynamic in development learning in the current era that emphasizes the Make A learning model Match with so the initial learning objectives can be achieved.
