Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi ekonomi dan lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap gaya hidup hedonis mahasiswa jurusan PIPS Angkatan 2020 FKIP Universitas Jambi. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada mahasiswa Jurusan PIPS Angkatan 2020 melalui Google Form. Setelah angket dibagikan, data dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan SPSS Statistics 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi ekonomi dan lingkungan teman sebaya sangat mempengaruhi gaya hidup hedonis mahasiswa khususnya mahasiswa Jurusan PIPS Angkatan 2020 yang bersifat positif. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan literasi ekonomi terhadap gaya hidup hedonis, dengan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 13,734 > 1,978 dan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05. (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap gaya hidup hedonis, dengan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 14,116 > 1,978 dan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05. (3) terdapat pengaruh literasi ekonomi dan lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap gaya hidup hedonis. Hal tersebut dibuktikan melalui uji F, nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 150,912 > 3,07 dengan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,701 atau 70,1%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh literasi ekonomi dan lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap gaya hidup hedonis mahasiswa jurusan PIPS Angkatan 2020 FKIP Universitas Jambi. This research aims to determine the influence of economic literacy and peer environment on the hedonic lifestyle of students majoring in PIPS Class of 2020, FKIP, Jambi University. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to PIPS Class 2020 students via the Google Form. After the questionnaire was distributed, the data was analyzed quantitatively using SPSS Statistics 21. The research results showed that economic literacy and the peer environment greatly influenced the hedonic lifestyle of students, especially students of the PIPS Department Class of 2020, which was positive. This is shown by (1) there is a positive and significant influence of economic literacy on hedonic lifestyle, with a tcount > ttable value of 13.734 > 1.978 and a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. (2) there is a positive and significant influence of the peer environment on hedonic lifestyle, with a tcount > ttable value of 14.116 > 1.978 and a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. (3) there is an influence of economic literacy and peer environment on the hedonic lifestyle. This is proven through the F test, the value of Fcount > Ftable is 150.912 > 3.07 with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.701 or 70.1%. It can be concluded that there is an influence of economic literacy and peer environment on the hedonic lifestyle of students majoring in PIPS Class of 2020, FKIP, Jambi University.
